Do we know if we can expect any more announcements today? I'm more excited than I would like about Strictly this year (I blame Chris Ramsey)

Has anyone else got a feeling Maddie Moate (kids TV) might be on this year?

So far I dont really know many of the celebs, only the comedian, eastenders actress and the sports presenter (only seem him a couple of times).

I wonder who the older celeb with rhythm and the battleaxe/grumpy old man celeb will be this year?

He's younger than me. I don't follow sport, soaps or social influencers either so that was 3 down before we even got going.
I only know Chris Ramsey because I caught Hebbern on youtube in the days before I got netflix, prime and filmon.

I am SO disappointed so far I think I am very clued up on celebrities/people in the public eye and I have only heard of 3 of those announced.

This series is going to be more like watching random strangers dancing rather than celebrities and that does not appeal at all

Really hope they are saving some big guns till last but I am doubtful.

Glad to find a bit of pre Strictly excitement! Just asked my daughters about Karim (11 and 9 so thought they had a good chance of knowing him). Reaction was "nooooooooooooo he's really really annoying"
The only one I know so far is David James
Still can't wait though. Mainly for reading these threads and Monkseal!

Actually, seeing them all lined up like that, there hasn't really been that many bona fide A-listers among them (Digital Spy are discussing who the most famous has been...)
I am also getting increasingly decrepit - could not think of the expression bona fide but my brain somehow knew it was connected with Victoria Wood.

Never joined a mn telly thread before. Love strictly. Last year I had DS mid season and dh downloaded it and bought it into the hospital on his tablet for me to watch the following day.
Only recognise Chris Ramsey and sports presenter so far though

I've found my thread I'm so excited for it to start, a tad disappointed with the celeb reveals so far but hoping better names are being held back for now.
