For those like me who have no self discipline, who binge watched the lot and now wish they hadn’t 😕

On twitter the Stranger Things writers said there is an EasterEgg hidden and someone got it and it was confirmed: the song that plays during Hopper's death (Gabriel's cover of Bowie's Heroes) is also played in season one, when Will's body is found.

There are also several pictures showing that a ladder goes down behind the mashine where Hopper stands.

Read a theory that the timeline strongly suggests next series will have something to do with Chernobyl. Theory was something like series one was set Winter 1983 for Christmas, series two of autumn/fall 1984 for Halloween, series three is summer 1985 for Independence Day and series four will be set spring 1986 for Easter which ties in with Chernobyl!

Ok I have to admit I wasn't crazy about this season, hopper and Joyce bickering like children made me and the singing made me cringe (sorry) but I will probably watch season 4 and here are my thoughts. There must be a good reason why L has lost her powers, she has been hurt and exhausted before and didn't lose them, so I think it's to prevent her 'finding' Hopper and keep the suspense going. The American in Russia might be Hopper, but I don't see how they could have captured him as they were overrun by the fbi. I think it be a red herring, maybe after the debacle the Russians captured the translator guy (can't remember his name). I do think Hopper is somehow alive though, he could be in the upside down but not sure how long he could survive there, either way L will find him.

Also do we think there's the smidgin of a chance that The American is Alexi? He talked about wanting to be one an American just before he was shot and they didn't exactly do a thorough check before they left his body at the funfair. (Which is "wtf?" in itself) Wishful thinking but you never know...

I watched S3 earlier in the week, then had to binge watch S1 and 2 again, so it’s been an emotional week for me 💔

One of my absolute favourite scenes this season was when Joyce threw the gun towards Hopper and it completely missed him😂.

I will miss Billy 🤤 but I think his character got as far as he could in the end. After redeeming himself, he couldn’t have gone back to being the bully and being a ‘good’ guy wouldn’t have suited him.

I hope Hopper will be back. I wonder if it will turn out that he purposely went into the Upside Down, as Alexei told him about other keys so he wants to somehow destroy them, to keep Eleven safe.

In the earlier seasons, there were various entrances to the upside down, in the vines/walls etc, not just at the main gate in the lab. Perhaps they will mimick how Eleven got back out in Season 2, and he finds an opening.

Oh, there was a thing after this season (think I saw this on Reddit), where fans for some reason decided to dial Murray’s phone number and ‘Murray’ has recorded an outgoing message for Joyce telling her he has found something -‘not good not bad but it’s something’.

I watched paused the scene with Hopper and the machine, one second he's there looking around for somewhere to go to escape the next he's disappeared and then the machine explodes. I'm positive he escaped into the gateway before the explosion.

I think season 4 will be about him.

Absolutely love Dustin and the duet with Suzie, I really hope they're in Season 4.
