Maura is 28. She doesnt look nearly 40 without make up.

Hmm I think her actions with Tommy freaked the guys out a lot. She does look completely different without make up more so then the other girls. Maybe they think she comes across a bit desperate...

Maura looks gorgeous with and without makeup. In fact all of them do, as much as I’ve seen. The one coupled up with Anton (sorry, I’ve genuinely forgotten her name) looks much better without heavy makeup.

Maura is gorgeous and looks mid-20s to me, either with or without makeup.

I agree that she wouldn't take any shit in a relationship and that puts guys off if they're not straight up genuine (which I don't think any of them are in there). I'd like to see her with Ovie actually as think they'd be a great couple.

A pp mentioned Amy and Marvin - I could see that working so would like them to go on a date (or at least get to know each other a bit more).

AND Maura IS loud. Yes, girls are supposed to be quiet and demure.

If I was Maura's mum I would be dead proud of how she has conducted herself in LI. Infact, I would be proud to be the mum of any of the original girls. Except, if I was Amy's mum, I would feel that I had failed her in some aspects.

Of the boys, I would be proud of Ovie, Jordan, Tommy.

I would not be proud to be Maura's mum. Or any of their parents for that matter. Michaels and Curtis especially.
For standing up to Tom when he was rude about her and giving the girls advice then yes but the way she was with Tommy and some of the stuff she has said is vulgar and cringe worthy. I would be embarrassed

Maura is loud and is very blunt. But I would be proud if I was her mum. She is being herself and she knows her worth.

Joanna is good looking but she’s thick as mince and I think Michael is starting to realise. Whereas there are no flies on Amber.

I think Curtis is in the closet and is looking for a beard.

Maura is too much woman for any of the guys to handle. She could do with meeting someone in their 40s who can match her.

Tommy is love-bombing Molly Mae and starting to wave some red flags. He’s being just as intense as Amy was about Curtis but because he’s a big boxer guy talking about feelings everyone thinks it’s sweet.

Anton has serious mummy issues.

Sometimes Maura is cringy though...a bit ott BUT the way she has stuck up for herself and others is great and admirable

Amy just seems to have no self awareness. She told Curtis she was in love with him, that the children in her family won't ever remember a time before him, that he's her future and that he's now taken her entire future away from her all after just four weeks. Then when he looks understandably scared by how intense she is and ends it, she continues to be intense by jabbing a finger in his face saying "I was in love with you!" and then asking him for constructive feedback like he was a potential employer who didn't give her the job.

Curtis is 23 years old and I don't blame him for being completely put off by her behaviour. I'm 23 myself and all the guys I know this age would run for the hills in the same situation! Too much, too soon. Admittedly though, he shouldn't of let it go so far when he knew he didn't fancy/have any sexual chemistry with her, but I think he knew he was in too deep after just a matter of days and literally didn't know what to do. That's why he looks so clueless now because he's just desperate for it to be over but does not know how to handle Amy's intensity.

I disagree about Amber being a match for Ovie. She's far too immature for him. He needs someone older and wiser. He is very very attractive.

I'm far too invested in this series, and my c-section date is in 12 days. It shouldn't bother me that I'm going to miss a lot of love island, my first baby should totally trump that.. but

Maura knows she will get more airtime if she plays with Curtis.
And yes, Ovie is beautiful

I don't see Amber and Ovie either. I do think Ovie and Maura could be a good match. He's very mature and kind from what I have seen so far. She needs to stay away from the younger boys in the villa as they are all very immature.

Completely disagree with the posters saying this series has been amazing! It's on par with last years which was awful. Curtis and Maura is the cherry on the cake for me it is completely fake and the producers seem to have just scripted the whole plot!

I agree that Amy came across as too intense with Curtis. Curtis is young and maybe this is still new for him. He didn’t handle it too well.

I don't see Amber and Ovie as a couple, she's not mature enough for him. I can't see him with any of the girls in the villa to be honest.

I feel sorry for George and the way he's being portrayed.

I also wonder if Maura sees Curtis as safe. She came in the villa like a dog on heat with her fanny flutters BUT is clearly not like that at all and was upset by the 'all mouth' comments. Maybe she sees
Curtis as we do - and thinks she will be safe from sexual pressure?

To be fair the most interesting thing about Lucie has all been about the relationships she has with the other people.
