That's why I think she's talking about Anton or Danny haha

Maybe they do a dancing challenge in the day and they show each other their moves Confused

I am just not getting the whole Curtis thing unless the producers have told them to do it it makes zero sense to me.

carmenbea · 05/07/2019 07:55

Sorry no idea why that posted twice!

Louise0701 · 05/07/2019 07:56

Curtis is so far from what I would describe as manly 🤣

findmeatyoga · 05/07/2019 08:23

Haven't caught up on full thread but if Tommy really valued Lucie he would leave her be and not prompt her to say she still fancies him. He's playing with her feelings and only focusing on what he wants - "I don't want to lose your friendship" etc. So either he has feelings for her beyond friends or he's a complete twat. His advice to others all round is terrible as well!

I always loved MM and Tommy but now feel she could do a lot better. Also starting to doubt her feelings for Tommy but really hope she's not that bad a person to feed him those lines as I do think he's besotted.

And Anna. Don't get me started. Wanted to fast forward through any scenes with her in it. She's mouthing off about Michael having "feelings in his hands" etc but is completely playing Ovie and Jordan to make herself feel big. She is awful. Would love to see her go ASAP.

I have always been quite anti-Amber but saw a very vulnerable and endearing side to her last night so I really feel for her.

Maura definitely doesn't fancy Curtis and I hope to god if it's him she's (definitely) joking about to lucie, that it doesn't get back to Amy. I thought Lucie was the most stunning girl when I first saw her but that's diminished as we have got to know her. She's very odd.

I said to my DH that Curtis looks like a serial killer too 😂 but so does Amy with the weird way she smiles when she's talking to him despite what she's actually saying, and repeating sentences. So maybe they are meant to be.

Definitely not AJ going in as he's coupled up with his dance partner apparently!

findmeatyoga · 05/07/2019 08:25

Agree with @BentBaastard that the new boys are dull. New girls too! Jourdan doesn't come across as someone with any heart at all to be honest.

Liskee · 05/07/2019 08:58

@ProteinshakesandAntonsAss I agree with everything you've said in your post. Thank for for some sense in this thread!

Also, everyone talking about Amy being a bitch and ugly take a look in the mirror and read your own posts....pot, kettle, black.

carmenbea · 05/07/2019 09:00

Just read Amy has been taken out the villa for psychological help Sad not sure if it's permanent or if she will be back

Thump · 05/07/2019 09:02

Just read that too @carmenbea - came on to see what news you all had on it!

carmenbea · 05/07/2019 09:07

This makes it sound like she's left for good but I don't think she has. LI producers have had to step in as over 200 Ofcom complaints about the Curtis/Amy scenario

I think she will be genuinely heartbroken so wouldn't surprise me if she has left as who would want to stay with an ex in that situation!

Whereas Curtis played her for a fool all along but I don't think he realised how much she liked him and couldn't see that him not staying in bed for a cuddle, not properly responding when she was saying how much she liked him etc weren't enough for her to catch onto his game and she just kept falling harder and harder for him and his charm. Poor Amy, not nice for anyone and not nice to watch.

ItIsWhatItIsInnit · 05/07/2019 09:12

I don’t like proud pissy men. Ovie going down in my estimation. He’s used to women throwing himself at him. I like Jordan - great elasticity and forgiveness!

What?! That's ridiculous. If a woman was in Ovie's position and was like "yeah it's fine we'll see what happens", you'd have a go at her for being a doormat and tell her to stand up for herself. Obviously Ovie is not going to be best pleased at being second fiddle to someone else....

I do think Curtis has behaved so strangely, the coffee thing is bizarre and calling Amy "talented" is even more bizarre. My partner has called me many a nice thing but never "talented" - that's what you'd call a kid in their school report! They sit in a villa sunbathing and bitching all day, what talents can anyone exhibit in there?!? Gymnastics? Burping the alphabet? Making a nice cup of tea?

Also, can we stop diagnosing psychopathy/narcissism/autism off of some heavily edited footage in a highly artificial situation, it's a bit much and the first one is a pretty serious accusation. And the laughing about tiny ears, he can't really help it can he

ItIsWhatItIsInnit · 05/07/2019 09:13

Oh gosh - and now she is going to come out, Google her name and read everything that's been said. Someone needs to look after her.

fraxion · 05/07/2019 09:15

Good post ItIs. Agree with you entirely.

fraxion · 05/07/2019 09:16

Oh gosh - and now she is going to come out, Google her name and read everything that's been said. Someone needs to look after her.

Let's hope she doesn't see some of the shit posted on here.

islandlove · 05/07/2019 09:18

I honestly can't see the show going on for much longer. Every other day there are hundreds of Ofcom complaints and some of this years I have found really difficult to watch. The producers have done an atrocious job of casting this year.

AliceRR · 05/07/2019 09:23

I think LI has had it. There have been too many complaints and issues. No amount of psychological testing can really predict how a person will cope with being in that situation. I think they should have seen the red flags with Amy not having had a boyfriend before etc.

Gummybear11 · 05/07/2019 09:23

Personally thought Ovie revealed himself to be even more attractive when he said he wasn't happy and was a proud man. He's got self respect and he's too mature to play games. Also said he didn't need to throw salt on another man (Jordan) to seduce a woman. He's a good bloke and bloody gorgeous.

Thump · 05/07/2019 09:24

Why are people complaining to OfCom - it's not as if they can prevent people being dicks. People get their hearts broken every day of the year - I've certainly had my fair share of it. It's hardly something to write home about.

BrienneofTarthILoveYou · 05/07/2019 09:25

Agree @Gummybear11 Grin

unique1986 · 05/07/2019 09:26

Catched up on lasts nights ep.
Wow Curtis was very blank looking while Amy was telling him how fake he was.
Why so emotionless? No arguing or anything..

BrienneofTarthILoveYou · 05/07/2019 09:26

Agree with you too @Thump. I don't understand the Ofcom complaints at all either!

BrienneofTarthILoveYou · 05/07/2019 09:28

@unique1986 I assume it was because he had nothing to say. She was right in her statements and was desperately hoping he'd 'fight' for her but he's not interested, so the only thing to say was ok and then sorry at the end. He was letting her get it off her chest I suppose. (Still think he's been cruel and a complete tosser to her but understand why he didn't speak then).

Thump · 05/07/2019 09:30

Amy seems a much more fragile character than the rest of them. How old is she? What is her job in real life?

CornishHasty · 05/07/2019 09:30

I didn’t realise Curtis was on Dancing With the Stars Ireland! Interesting...he has a lot to lose if he messes up his public image.

unique1986 · 05/07/2019 09:32

I just thought he was weird. Like he had been told not to give his version of why he went off her or picked her in the first place.
You never really liked me...
I would need a clarification for that. Just for closure.
