Iโ€™ve just finished this epic episode and am panicking cause I canโ€™t find the new thread! If there is one Iโ€™ll just delete this one!

Sound quality poor on First Look. What was Michael saying to Anna?

SweetMelodies · 03/07/2019 13:39

Yeah Iโ€™m confused at the lack of screen time Dan got heโ€™s gorgeous, really thought Maura would have shown an interest.

cheesytoasters · 03/07/2019 13:40

Still don't buy the MM drop to the floor because I'm so relived BS.

She was so bothered by the tweet about having her eyes on the 50k she knew she had to go ott and fall to the floor dramatics for the public.

And Tommy's speech about "mummy" was cringe.

InsertFunnyUsername · 03/07/2019 13:41

No one is saying to give Amber a pass, but its ironic to be so concerned about bullying but relentlessly pile on a young girl is a bit grim.

No doubt she seems like hard work, but all this "Ha ha she looks so gutted, good" is uncomfortable. And if Amy redeemed herself after the Lucie situation, seen as she started it all, then surely so could Amber?

Tbf I could change my mind by tonight, if they went all at Joanna that would be wrong.

RonnieScotts · 03/07/2019 13:41

Anna says something like 'just say you were tested and found this new girl instead of saying all these things now, if you had these problems you should have ended it with amber before the new girl came in' and he says 'Nah nah nah I'm ending this conversation now'

cheesytoasters · 03/07/2019 13:41

Relieved*

augustusglupe · 03/07/2019 13:41

Gummybear11 Heโ€™s absolutely entitled to go off her, but tbh I donโ€™t think he was ever really that into her, certainly not sexually. They are at the ripping the pants off each other honeymoon phase and all they really were was mummy and daddy of the group Hmm
As soon as he realised the public werenโ€™t falling for his act and they werenโ€™t in the top 3 couples, heโ€™s panicked, his plan wasnโ€™t working.
And that fake showbiz smile he puts on is just creepy. I cant stand him.

Sagradafamiliar · 03/07/2019 13:41

The 'young ladies' thing is very ikky but I thought maybe he was just very old fashioned. Now I can see it's just patronising and arrogant. To sit and explain his thought process to Jourdan having not even thought that she would have feelings or preferences of her own was quite gobsmacking.
The 'half-girlfriend' was a tactic to give Amy a false sense of security and the ability for himself to change his mind at a later date. Conniving.

InsertFunnyUsername · 03/07/2019 13:42

I was suprised at Lucie choosing the blonde guy.

cheesytoasters · 03/07/2019 13:43

To sit and explain his thought process to Jourdan having not even thought that she would have feelings or preferences of her own was quite gobsmacking.

I agree, this shocked me too. It came across like she had little say over the matter. Really strange. I'm pleased she pied him.

Sagradafamiliar · 03/07/2019 13:45

Yep and she delivered the pie with class!

Crazyladee · 03/07/2019 13:46

Just watched first look.
Does anyone else feel that It looks like Curtis has given Amy a really watered down version of events. And am I right in saying that he said in the clip "she asked me if recoupling was in half an hour would you choose me... And I said yes"

Excuse me if I'm wrong but in reality Jourdan didnt actually ask him did she? Why would she, if she wasnt interested and say no!! Lots of backpedalling going on by Curtis. In the beach hut saying he's screwed up. What happened to the stuff in his speech about not lying to himself or Amy anymore??

cheesytoasters · 03/07/2019 13:47

I would have been quite offended if I was George when Caroline asked Lucie "why did you pick George" and her response was "look at him". I know we haven't seen much of his personality but he might just be really shy, it's only been a couple of days. And she clearly thinks there's nothing else there other than his looks.

InsertFunnyUsername · 03/07/2019 13:47

Anna was childish for putting the blame on jordan "I didn't think he liked me that much" was a cop out and cowardly, as far as i could see they were affectionate to each other, but then i think if Jordaun would have shown interest in Jordan he would have re coupled aswell.

WeKnowFrogsGoShaLaLaLaLa · 03/07/2019 13:51

MM said herself that when she saw the daft teddy she had left wasnt on the bed (they had to walk through that room) she had convinced herself that he must have recoupled. Then she saw he hadn't. Then she saw he had hold of the daft teddy, that's when she crumpled. Imagine how quickly those emotions must have been run through, I do get it. I'm not the biggest MM fan but they are the strongest and most level headed couple. And Tommy looked like and excited expectant groom while he waited for her.

areyoubeingserviced · 03/07/2019 13:52

I donโ€™t have an issue with Michael choosing Joanna. I do however, have an issue with him constantly humiliating Amber.
Amber may be hard work and I think that she is actually a pain at times, however he remained coupled up with her and was constantly going on about how he loved her diva like behaviour. If he was a man of integrity he should have dumped her.
It reminds me of a scenario whereby a man marries a very overweight woman, then later claims that heโ€™s leaving her because sheโ€™s too fat.
Michael has proved to be the immature individual in this case

Crazyladee · 03/07/2019 13:54

It would have been less humiliating for Amy if Curtis had recoupled with one of the other new girls.. Maybe Maria who said she liked him to give her an opportunity to be in the main villa. Then if nothing developed just become friends. Yes Amy would have become single (she will probably leave now anyway especially if she gets told exactly what Curtis said to everyone around the firepit instead of his watered-down version) but surely less humiliating for her for her to walk into the villa after that speech in front of everyone.

areyoubeingserviced · 03/07/2019 13:56

I have just got to say that Curtis is the biggest game player in the house.
I felt really sorry for Amy. She had filled herself up and looked great. She was overjoyed to see Curtis , not knowing that he had tried to crack on with Jourdan., who wasnโ€™t even interested in him

areyoubeingserviced · 03/07/2019 13:56

Dolled herself up

ProteinshakesandAntonsAss · 03/07/2019 13:58

The other reason anna is a massive hypocrite is how is what she done, any different to what Danny did?

FrustratedTeddyLamp · 03/07/2019 13:59

It seems amazing how some will do mental gymnastics so its always the men at fault. Michael has voiced several times that Amber has said/ done things he doesnt like ( which has been the general consensus here also) and then had to apologise. As far as i can remember they didnt have any exclusivity chat like Joe and Lucy, Curtis and Amy, or seemed as secure as Tommy and MM.

Anna just before going to Casa Amor was talking with Jordan about how they really like each other and could see it going somewhere. Anna also spoke of how she liked Jordan. First moments of Casa Amor and its " Jordan who?" Thats definitely not built on a connection, just looks.

AliceRR · 03/07/2019 14:00

First Look: I canโ€™t decide whether Michael is in the wrong or not. He shouldnโ€™t use Amberโ€™s behaviour for his excuse to recouple if he just liked Joanna more but then again he did have issues with Amber and the girl is so fiesty he couldnโ€™t just tell her and expect her to take it on board

Anna is being horrid again and I do think her situation is similar so she is being a bit of a hypocrite. She couldnโ€™t even talk when she came out with Ovie and yet sheโ€™s shooting her mouth off now.

I feel for Amy. I think Curtis might have been her first love and this will be massive for her but itโ€™s for the best that she knows now.

InsertFunnyUsername · 03/07/2019 14:05

Didn't michael say him and Amber were basically the same person? Doesn't say much about him then, its typical for people to justify their actions by picking faults in their partner etc.

Its funny though because he didn't need to, he could have just said he had a better connection etc like josh did last year, and they made it to the final so it didn't hinder Josh's chances that much to just admit he liked caz more than georgia.

ILoveYou3000 · 03/07/2019 14:06

Protein Exactly! Everyone is saying Anna and Jordan weren't in the same place as Amber and Michael; perhaps not, but they were certainly in a better place and more 'together' than Danny and Yewande. So yes Anna is a massive hypocrite.

ProteinshakesandAntonsAss · 03/07/2019 14:06

I do think people feel sorry for Amy because from her point if view they were solid.

She gushed about being in love with him.

Stood there and said how much she missed him, infornt of everyone who knew he would have picked someone else if he could.
