I’ve just finished this epic episode and am panicking cause I can’t find the new thread! If there is one I’ll just delete this one!

The irony of Michael just walking away from the discussion when he can't argue against the point, when he called Amber childish for doing the same thing last week.

I think Michael did raise things with Amber throughout - he said the balcony heckling was childish, he stood up for Danny, remember the massive eye roll. Then there was the stupid argument she picked just before Casa Amor. She would never back down and he ended up giving in to keep the peace. So there were doubts/cracks and then someone stunning came in who is more chilled out (not hard). I really don’t blame Michael for jumping ship and suspect tonight will just make him feel more certain of his choice.

Re Amy hopefully this will at least make people feel sorry for her rather than hating on her/sending death threats. Back up plan sums it up, I hope Curtis at least has the decency to call it quits, not dial it back for his own selfish sake.

But Casa Amor has been a big shock for those who didn’t take it in the way intended.

Amy and Amber made no attempt to get to know the other guys and Jordan made little attempt to get to know the girls. Perhaps it was the arrogance of thinking that they were in a safe coupling.

I feel bad for Amy - she really expected Curtis to be the 1/2 boyfriend - no-one else pied ever got that committment.

The knack- I think they were trying to be loyal to their partners.
I actually think that despite the fact that Michael wasn’t really Amber’s type, she let her guard down and was beginning to have feelings for him. He asked her if she could see them being together and she said she could.
Michael is not even into Joanna, I don’t even think that he wanted to dump Amber. I believe that he was worried that she would walk in with another man and make him look stupid. He’s probably kicking himself and I can see him grovelling to Amber and trying to make amends.

Bit late to catch up on this thread, but Lucie definitely has a type doesn't she? This new one she's coupled up with looks exactly the same as her ex boyfriend who was on last year

Just seen first look. I've never felt so sorry for someone as I do Amy 😔it's fine for Curtis to have doubts etc as these things happen but the way he's handled it is rubbish. I really hope LI make sure she has the support she needs, it's so shit for her to go through this on TV and I don't think she'll cope very well.

Casa Amor is brilliant in a savage way. I think they should do it more than once throughout a series.

I think Amy will wall now I can't see her staying in there now. It must be awful for all the new people going into that toxic atmosphere, there will have to be people voted out tomorrow night.

I think if they did it more than once tho people would be too scared to recouple because of the fallout!

What is Curtis’ plan now tho? He’s told Amy the truth so now...what will happen at the next recoupling?

I think I'd walk too if I was Amy. Curtis has actually dramatised his humiliation of her. It's horrible.

I feel for Amy I do but I do think we are being lead slightly with the clips and teasers.

I'm not a fan of Amy but I don't think anyone deserves to be humiliated like that. So I hope she stays strong and it is the making of her a bit like with Camilla and Johnny then Jamie. ( I don't know if amy is the personality type for that though). She may walk but I don't think that is the way this will go either.

Mrssunshine- just watch and see Michael will attempt to grovel to Amber. He will tell her that he messed up, that he wasn’t truly interested in Joanna etc etc etc.
He may find Joanna attractive, she’s a pretty girl. However, Amber excites him.
If she coupled up with another bloke, he will be upset.

First year watching. Can the contestants make themselves single while in a couple? Or have they ever ‘ended’ the relationship while in a couple? I feel like a lot of the problems are because they get stuck with a person and then can’t really get out of it.

Yeah I don't think Michael is excited by Amber, perhaps he was at first, but the reality of her mood swings and negative behaviour has overridden that now.
