According to the news I read most of the original islanders failed a drug test before going in so the majority of the ones there were the replacements. May answer the question to why the contestants this year are so bloody boring 😂😂😂😂

Hi, can I join in?. It’s all starting to get interesting now but I’m sad for Amy, I think when Curtis and Amy weren’t in the top 3 couples he wasn’t happy, I think he’s playing a game. If he does pick Amy I hope the new girls tell her what he’s done. They’re also exclusive, so what he’s done is a lot worse than the other lads.

I don’t like the way Michael has acted either, I’ve seen a different side to him now. I know amber can be childish but he’s said nothing to her and then slagged her off to another girl he knew for one day. I’m excited for tonight but I’m sad that the only loyal boy is Tommy.

Curtis wouldn't be saying he was 'scared' if he'd decided to pick Amy. He's either going to recouple or tell her it's over anyway.

I don't know what I'm missing i feel like I've been watching a different show cos I don't understand the Amy/Anna/Amber hate at all.
I think they're the best and tightest group of girl mates I've ever seen in the villa; they stick up for each other even at the risk of appearing a bit immature or falling out with the boys. Amber isn't bitchy I think she's extremely feisty and happy to call out poor behaviour (Danny) that others are too cowardly to challenge. Michael was more than happy with her until the tweets undermined his sense of manliness. And she's been totally loyal to their relationship. I also don't see where Amy was bitchy other than calling out Lucie for spending all her time with boys which was essentially true. Curtis has totally mislead her - that doesn't make her needy or pathetic. Anna is funny, loyal and clever and is a great match with Ovie.

I don't feel like Amy is part of the Amber, Anna and previously Yewande group. I liked Amber and Anna until the Danny situation which was embarrassingly immature and bullying. Hence why they got a warning from the producers as so many people complained about them.

I think Curtis has to recouple now, he's put it out there he's not feeling it, so to stay with her will be out of pity or fear of repercussions.

I can't believe Amy is saying she's in love with him. After this amount of time. I don't think anyone can blame the producers, she might never have had a boyfriend, but she's a twenty six year Old woman, not a child, and she's shagged eleven blokes so clearly not unfamiliar with men.

For her sake I think he needs to end it. Anything else is a pity recoupling and that's not ok.

See, I find it strange when people cant see how Amy Amber and Anna (and Yewande) were catty and unpleasant. Amy was bitching about Lucie every chance she got and also about Molly in the first days. I think they just don't show her saying much now to avoid the backlash her family are getting. Lucie didn't owe those girls a friendship any more than she owes any man a relationship!

Amber is on the offensive all the time which is I think why Michael has gone off her. I do think things could have been different.

Danny didn't do anything wrong really - he chose not to stay with his original person. That's the nature of love island. I don't really see how his behaviour was bad.

I think the girls have a good friendship but they weren’t very nice to Danny. Anna’s “bye then” and “urgh!” were not very nice and I thought Amber was really unpleasant about it all. I just don’t know what I think of Amy but I’m rooting for Curtis to pick someone else so that says it all!

@MoominMantra I agree with you RE Amy. The producers won't show her anymore because she's got so much hate. And when they do show her she looks awkward or angry.

The biggest mistake so many of the islanders have made this year is telling the person they're coupled with that their heads would never be turned.

I agee, they behaved poorly, and have done so on different occasions, inc with lucie, arabella and Danny. There is clearly stuff not being shown for Michael to say when Amy makes comments it comes across as being bitchy and for Curtis to agree. A lot of guys don't pick up on that stuff, as it's subtle, but even they are calling it out.

What we saw, which is probably not all of it. Or anywhere close, was clearly bitchy and deeply unpleasant, so it makes me wonder how posters who can't see it behave.

Yes I noticed Anna’s accent changed last night. A local accent became more pronounced, she was just short of saying ‘somefink’ (something).

Nah Curtis will choose Any. If for any reason they made him choose Jordaan or Joanne (who have shown zero interest in him), they would just dump Curtis at the next recouping and go back to Danny or whoever and he’d be out. Curtis is so playing a game which to be fair they all are but Amy doesn’t appear to be mature enough. Being part of the pagent world means she is very well used to being knocked down and picking herself up again and very used to playing a part. I very much doubt she is as fragile as she says she is.......

Of course there is the possibility and probability that all this was pre arranged and saying love is part of it. Call me a cynic...,...

I've also gone off Anna and Amber. And agree with all PP about Amy not being shown because of the death threats but the fact is the boys said she was bitchy so she clearly isn't a very nice person and her family shouldn't be able to pick and choose what the public see. If they are that worried they should get her out but at the end of the day it's a REALITY SHOW. People will always get caught out.

I reckon that last bit of the first look, where Curtis says he's never been so nervous or scared, is because he hasn't recoupled.

They've made it out to be before the decoupling but I think it's just clever editing.

I also have a horrible feeling that they will show us the boys recoupling tonight but make us wait until tomorrow to see the girls come back/reactions 😡😡😡
