Thanks fizzy just the usual medication review for dd but she had a seizure when there so we ended up staying so her dr could fully observe. She fine now, tearing around outside
Totally agree very disrespectful to Sugita, the commentary seems to be getting more and more irritating. Or maybe I'm just losing patience

Just turned tv on quickly between school pick up and tennis club (Kazza's Taxis) to see Rafa win the first set.

Did they just say there's no hawkeye?

What's going on with the umpire?! I can't watch and I'm intrigued

The umpire has just made some very odd decisions. Fortunately , Rafa's challenge proved him wrong

Aussie here .. Tomic and Kyrgios are an embarrassment. Hope Ash Barty does well.

Can we get a shot clock for the Umpire- all these re-played points and challenges due to poor decisions are more time consuming than anything Rafa does .

private the umpire has called a few shots and when challenged has got 2/3 wrong. It also sounded like he told the players that there was no hawk eye. This hasn't been confirmed.

There are some great, really decent Australian players (Jordan Thompson being one of them) it's a shame a couple ruin it - and get all the attention.

Taylor Fritz has beaten Berdych in straight sets.

Private Matt Ebden is 1 set all against (the diminutive) Diego. I had to google him - he’s pretty easy on the eye

There's some great shots from both players at the moment.

Jan one of my bezzies is from Aus and she also despairs of Kyrgios and Tomic. But you have many more great players/characters than those 2 - GS champs Ash, Stosur, and lovely Millman, Ebden (did I mention him already? ), Groth etc. It's just typical Kyrgios and Tomic get most of the attention
