I think Curtis is playing a game, he is either doing it for air time and for an arc so he can declare how much being tested has made him realise he likes Amy; or its because he found out they arent one of the most popular couples. I think Amy gets an unfair amount of hate online, and I hope he isn't as she will be gutted, but he doesn't seem too bothered with her even when they are together.
