I don't think it's a matter of not liking her but if he has to bite his tongue to avoid stress and whatever else he said... then longterm that's not gonna work out doesn't mean you don't like the person. I was in a relationship like that once, couldn't say what I thought or felt because it always caused issues, could never have a proper conversation about feelings... which I let happen for way to long because I also really liked him, it has made me afraid to say what I think a lot of the time... I do more now but I'm still afraid it'll turn into arguments...

I'd say Maura is genuinely genuine. She hasn't made any attempt whatsoever to change her accent (which is as flat as a cow splat on a hot summer's day in the bogs of Longford). She just is who she is. Pity someone hasn't fallen for her yet as she has a nice personality I think. Rooting for her. Dennon is too young for her though!!!

Yes, I think this. They should have made it Maria that he could potentially get his head turned by though to make it more realistic.
