She could just be like that, but there have been many examples of her not understanding social ques. Clearly not getting what Joe meant, and when Maura was moaning about Elma. You can see in her eyes, she doesn't understand it.

Or she does and just doesn't show it how you want her to.

Nobody's using anything as an excuse. I think Lucies behaviour is generally out of sync. And she looks genuinely confused when people are upset with her about something.

Mind you 'shut up about your autism' is a reaction I'm used to in RL as well. Which doesn't help awareness. It is becoming clear that women with AS are vastly underdiagnosed. That doesn't mean Lucie does have it but it could explain why she often appears not to fit

I hope Michael stays loyal as i think Amber will but their relationship reminds me a bit of josh and Georgia from last year, i wouldnt be surprised if he felt a connection with one of the new girls and decides Amber is too much hard work/ immature. Cant see Tommy/Molly or Amy/Curtis straying although I do think it would be entertaining they did. I think last year there were much more solid couples by the time Casa Amour was opened up so it really was explosive seeing the heads turn. This time Maura and Lucie are single and Anna is early days with Jordan, and Danny and Anton are single so would expect all them to couple up with new people. Interesting to see how long it takes Danny to crack on since he doesnt think anyone could make him feel the way Arabella did

Lucie may be undiagnosed or she may just be a a bit of a dick. I think it’s the latter as she knew it was wrong to tell Tommy hence why she wanted him to keep it quiet, so she clearly understands some social norms.

I think regardless of whether Lucie does have autism or not it’s good people are discussing these things. Awareness can only be a good thing. I say that as someone whose son has autism (severe enough that he attends complex needs school) and dh and I both have aspergers.

One of the reasons I love Love Island is to see how people behave. It’s so out of my comfort zone and I enjoy being an observer.

Obv we don't know, and nor does it matter, whether Lucie has asd or not, but seeing the clear confusion, lack of social ques, friendship difficulties, stilted talk and mannerisms, it looks to people who are with asd people very similar traits. It's not that she has to confirm and it's certainly not pathetic.
As a mum I worry how my daughter will be cope when she's older, I can see her acting very similarly to lucie.
