They definitely do manipulate some things, like how we see the islanders. For example they were making molly mae out to look jealous by putting boundaries in tommy and Lucie’s friendship. But then there was a small comment about no more cuddling, which references something we hadn’t seen at all. If we’d seen Lucie snuggling up to Tommy we might all hate lucie as I really would not be ok with someone cuddling my DH

Lucie has her chance and she blew it. I think she enjoyed having two boys vying for her attention and thinks she made the wrong decision to go for Joe and is now full of regrets. She's been grafting Tommy since Joe left under the pretense of friendship.

You state the producers can't just ignore votes and do their own thing..but they can definitely manipulate what happens once we vote and how the islanders were left to choose before bottom 4 rather than bottom 2, can't they? Then hope the islanders choose the people the producers want to leave.

I think if Lucie was going to try anything with Tommy she wouldn’t be overly direct with it, she’d hint and flirt a bit, but she wouldn’t just tell him in an obvious way that she likes him. Maybe the boys from Casa Amor will distract her from Tommy.
