I find it really hard to understand posters who didn’t see A&A’s behaviour as bullying. They were in a group, giving horrible looks, bitching, heckling, name-calling and trying to start a fight. Those are all examples of bullying behaviour. I agree they reminded me of my school bullies, it isn’t trivialising to say that, they clearly make people in the villa feel uncomfortable and unable to say/do what they want/feel. The fact that Anton actually had a conversation where he apologised for something he had no need to apologise for and admitted he was scared of them says it all. And they weren’t even embarrassed/horrified by that - they seemed totally fine - even happy - with a housemate being terrified of them! Plus the fact that even their partners Jordan and Michael were either saying it’s pathetic or looking uncomfortable shows how out of order their behaviour was.

I thought Danny handled it well, realising Amber was baiting him and refusing to give her what she wanted. It’s also fortunate is that Arabella is a strong, confident person and won’t be intimidated by then so didn’t end up eg in tears/feeling alienated.

Maybe it would have been tactful not to snog so soon but that behaviour was completely out of line. I worry what will happen if there is Casa Amor and more couples split. I actually really don’t want to watch that at all.

Janus · 26/06/2019 08:59

There was definitely bullying. To call someone over to belittle them in front of everyone else is bullying. Anna doing her little ‘bye’, ‘bye’, ‘bye’ rant to Danny while he was trying to defend himself was horrible. I sincerely hope either one of those girls are the next to go.

Theknacktoflying · 26/06/2019 08:59

I think the whole bitchy lot (Amy, MM, Curtis) had a big part in it all .... Amber and Anna both had their back to where Danny and A were sitting and then stirred by calling attention to the kiss especially as they all knew that feelings were high the girls and Danny

ItIsWhatItIsInnit · 26/06/2019 09:03

"The bed is still cold"?!? "Have some respect"?!?!

NO-ONE'S FUCKING DIED, it's a fucking game show, as far as I'm concerned he's free to bang her on the swing chair the minute Yewande went. It's a GAME SHOW. What respect?! Yewande fancied him for about 5 minutes, only once Arabella came in. Danny slept outside so whose bed was meant to be cold?!

The girls have such a bizarre attitude, like Danny was married to her for 10 years. Maura and Lucie are the only reasonable girls in this villa.

Savoury99 · 26/06/2019 09:10

Y should never have gone on the show. She messed Danny about then played the victim when he chose someone else.

They were in a game show not in a proper relationship.

Savoury99 · 26/06/2019 09:11

ItIsWhatItIsInnit exactly.

carmenbea · 26/06/2019 09:12

Amber and Anna really let themselves down their behaviour was appalling.
Yes I think it was bullying. In these scenarios I always think "would I be upset/angry if this was happening to someone in my family" and yes if Danny was my brother I would be going mad

howwudufeel · 26/06/2019 09:19

I think Danny treated Yewande badly. Amber and Anna were angry about it and reacted badly. Arabella looks like someone who is very used to getting her own way and doesn’t particularly care about other people’s feelings.

BenWillbondsPants · 26/06/2019 09:21

They were in a group, giving horrible looks, bitching, heckling, name-calling and trying to start a fight.

Actually that's very true. It's a bit worrying that some people think this is OK. But then, if some people didn't think this was ok there would be no such thing as a bully.

Anna and Amber seem to think that they're the Queen Bees of the villa. They're forgetting that they may have to vote each other out in the future. I wonder how they'll feel then.

MargoLovebutter · 26/06/2019 09:29

I found it hard to stay engaged last night. The Danny / Arabella thing bored me a bit and I wasn't clear if they really had a 'connection' or if they were just celebrating a triumph. Time will tell.

Found the 'oh you should have waited' bitching a bit pointless and beefy. What difference would waiting have made?

The Curtis / Tommy bromance thing seemed massively stage managed. Really, really struggling to believe that men of that age group genuinely talk like that without heavy prompting.

Basically bored with the group dynamics now. Feels like there is a lot of 'playing it safe' going on - so bring on Casa Amor!!!!

Reith · 26/06/2019 09:33

I think Danny treated Yewande badly.

She treated him badly also.

Henlie · 26/06/2019 09:36

Agree with ‘Margolovebutter’ everything’s getting a bit dull....bring on Casa Amor 😆!! What we need is a couple of lovely girls for Michael and Jordan, so they can ditch Amber and Anna. Then some hot blokes for Lucie and Maura.
Come on Love Island, deliver the goods!!! 😉

ooooohbetty · 26/06/2019 09:48

I think Danny has a verucca (I don't know how to spell it) and that's why he always wears socks

Proteinshakesandtears · 26/06/2019 09:49

I am going to revise my earlier statement.

It was bullying. I said before if it continued it would be bullying.

But I have just watched it again. It was bullying.

They had one person stood there while they berated them, goaded them and tried to humiliate him.

When he walked away, Amber then followed him. I don't care if he was talking about what happened in the kitchen, if he was. Amber and Anna had sat and discussed the situation behind his back several times. Why can he not do the same?

Anna was downright rude and childish.

I dont agree that Jordan shouldnt have challenged her in public. She tried to publically embarrass Danny. Why should she be able to demand that she can only be challenged in private.

Neither Anton or Jordan should have apologised but they clearly felt they had to.

Anton pointed out he was nervous to approach them. Why? Why does Yewande have any more right to be there than Lucie?

Darksideofthemoon19 · 26/06/2019 09:49

Has anyone mentioned how Dan spoke about Maura?! My god he’s massively punching already! I hopeeeeee she finds out! Poor girl is being humiliated by him.

Proteinshakesandtears · 26/06/2019 09:52

Has anyone mentioned how Dan spoke about Maura?

Do you mean Tom?

I don't think what he said was that bad. Theres lots he likes about her, but somethings he doesnt.

I find her funny, but can imagine her making people cringe. My dad, for example, is lovely man. But very low key. He coildnt beckwith someone like Maura. Drawing attention, constantly, would make my dad uncomfortable. I mean my dad woildnt be in love island and if he was he wouldnt have picked her as he really wouldnt have liked her.

But Tom has said that he does like, but is not sure she ticks all his boxes. Dont think there is anything wrong with that.

carmenbea · 26/06/2019 09:54

Tom is a strange one... I think he is just really turned off by her being so loud and outspoken. I would be mortified if the guy I was seeing said that behind my back though. Especially when he called her cringe 😬 I think Lucie is more his type she has everything on his check list except she's blonde!

Proteinshakesandtears · 26/06/2019 09:58

He didnt call her cringe. He said it makes him cringe. Not everyone wants to be with someone like Maura. As much as I love her.

The other thing is if there are no girls that tick all his boxes in there. What was he meant to do? Just refuse to recouple?

He picked the one that ticks most of his boxes.

He has said he likes someone who is interested in the gym. Maura isnt. So he is thinking about how they would work in real life. And he talked it out with a friend.

I dont like him and I love Maura. But I honestly dont think he did anything wrong.

BenWillbondsPants · 26/06/2019 10:02

I think Tom is massively punching above his weight with Maura. Mod or not, I find him the most unattractive in there - Maura will want someone who makes her laugh and he's a wet blanket with very little about him. IMO.

GeriTe · 26/06/2019 10:03

I thought he said she makes him cringe as well. He hasn't done anything wrong but it's quite unusual for people to be THAT particular about dating someone. And Maura will not like the comments he made either. I agree with PP I would be mortified if guy I was seeing said that

Proteinshakesandtears · 26/06/2019 10:07

Oh yeah Tom is definitely punching.

riotlady · 26/06/2019 10:08

Funny that people think Tom is punching... he’s got all the personality of a dish cloth but I think he’s the best looking guy by miles!

carmenbea · 26/06/2019 10:10

Tom is one of the best looking guys he's definitely in the top 3. But he doesn't have much about him personality wise and comes across a bit of a wet wipe sometimes. I don't think him and Maura are suited at all and can't see him staying in the villa much longer tbh.

MardyMavis · 26/06/2019 10:11

Late to the party....but amber showed her true colours, Anna is a dick and boring af...glad Jordan told her about herself also just found this

Love Island 10 - what comes around, goes around
ItIsWhatItIsInnit · 26/06/2019 10:11

I get wanting someone slim/toned but why would you care how they achieve it and if they go to the gym or not? Although fair enough, everyone has their preferences. He's a bit dull and my partner is convinced he is a totally dickhead with a bad vibe, but to me he is the best looking guy in there. Although the jawline looks suspiciously like filler.

If he wants a quieter girl who's into the gym.....has he spotted LUCIE yet?
