New thread unless someone's beaten me to it.

Danny owed Yewande nothing. It's a game, he hadn't professed his undying love or promised commitment. He's also 21, in an unnatural environment and despite having tried (as confirmed by a number of islanders) but getting nothing in return, he moved on to someone who was making her interest clear.

Is that not the idea of the show or have I completely missed something? They don't have the luxury of 'wait and see' or slow burners. None of them know who's coming through the door next. The whole point is to be coupled up or you're off home.

Why would Danny risk staying with Yewande who only showed any interest once she had competition? Yewande wanted to stay in the game, she clearly didn't actually like Danny. The problem for her, she didn't play the game well enough and so she's gone.

I really like Anna but looks as though that may change judging from first look. Jordan... I don’t feel we’ve really seen much of him to be able to form an opinion properly?

itswinetime · 25/06/2019 16:03

I don't think Danny should of picked Yewande or he owed her anything just that he should have said after the way you behaved I'm not sure anymore so I'm going to get to know the new girl. I think if he has done that he would have more sympathy in the villa. Although Amber and Anna were always going to kick off he would be in a stronger place.

tessiegirl · 25/06/2019 16:06

Yeah thanks - I know about watch this thread.

Darlin · 25/06/2019 16:06

Why can't Maura and Anton just suddenly realize they've fancied each other all along and couple up. They'd be so cute and funny together and I'd vote them to win million billion times. Even if they faked it I wouldn't care I'd love it! I wish some producer would secretly tell them to do this.

Could you imagine the look on Curtis/Amy & Amber/Michael's faces if Maura and Anton won. It'd be the most hilarious thing ever and the thought of it would keep me warm all the way through winter until next summer's season.

FreshAprilStart · 25/06/2019 16:12

Jordan has been invisible. The only thing I remember about him is his awful teeth and strange hairstyle. Haven't seen huge amount of Anna either. She comes across as sulky.

Don't know if there is one genuine couple in there.

ILoveYou3000 · 25/06/2019 16:12

itswinetime He did eventually didn't he? He told Yewande he was going to carry on getting to know Arabella. He did dance around it a little, but I'm sure he said he didn't want to not be friends with Yewande. He wasn't direct, granted, but I don't think he offered any false hope.

itswinetime · 25/06/2019 16:17

Only because Yewande confront him and made him was my memory. Arabella pulled Yewande and said everything Danny has said to her. Then they both pulled Danny Arabella left and then yewande really had to push Danny to tell her what was going on.

That's how I remember it any maybe I have things in the wrong order and he was fine 🤷🏻‍♀️

carmenbea · 25/06/2019 16:18

Don't think Danny did anything wrong. It would be worse if he picked Yewande when there is no feelings there. I have a feeling Arabella will find someone else as PP has already suggested.
I find Danny, Tom and Jordan quite dull maybe will see a bit more personality once casa Amor starts

Proteinshakesandtears · 25/06/2019 16:24

Tbh had Danny told Yewande, when she came over to tell him she did like him and wanted to show more affection (despite saying the exact opposite to everyone else 24hrs before), that actually he wanted to keep his options open. I think he would still be getting the same stick.

If she opened up and he immediately shot her down and was honest. I dont think it would have ended any better.

By the time she opened up. It was too little too late. He should have told her, but I dont think it would have changed the reactions of the others.

itswinetime · 25/06/2019 16:29

You could be right there I guess the girls were always going to be team Yewande and Danny was always going to get stick from
Them so he was a bit dammed either way.

nickymanchester · 25/06/2019 16:58

I read an amusing exchange elsewhere. One poster was asking:-

Whats all this about a good crack?

To which another poster replied:-

It's craic,

If the villa had good crack it'd be an entirely different show

SlimGin · 25/06/2019 17:02

I'm not surprised that Tom called Maura cringe. The things she says are very cringey.
They are just not compatible at all, she's fiery and fun and independent, and he's a wet flannel. I don't know what prompted them to ever get together aside from maybe sexual attraction but probably because neither of them wanted to be single.

carmenbea · 25/06/2019 17:07

Just read that article RE Maura and Tom. I can see where he is coming from a bit she is very dramatic and has said some really cringe stuff since she's been in the villa. Judging by his preference to Elma as well makes me think he likes someone more chilled and laid back.

Proteinshakesandtears · 25/06/2019 17:11

Dont think Tom has said anything wrong there. He likes her but isnt completely sure about the relationship.

And told his mate. What's the big deal.

mundayn · 25/06/2019 17:13

It's the same poster that keeps making every single fucking thing 'racist' YAWN ON LOVE

mundayn · 25/06/2019 17:16

I'm going to flounce if I see one more 'amour'.

AMORAMORAMORAMORAMOR

mundayn · 25/06/2019 17:17

@Crazyladee Where are you watching??

BenWillbondsPants · 25/06/2019 17:22

Anna and Amber are looking like silly little girls. They're egging each other on and at this rate someone will tell one or both of them to fuck off and grow up.

RagingWhoreBag · 25/06/2019 17:25

Can I also say I love the name change RefreshifyMe - I meant to say last night but I got logged out Grin

cuppycakey · 25/06/2019 17:33

Oh dear! Amber and Anna look like a couple of immature, nasty little bitches.

What a shame.

boooey · 25/06/2019 17:36

First look made me really uncomfortable ! Anna and Amber are pathetic. Who cares if Danny kisses Arabella - in previous years there's been far more couple switch ups so this shouldn't be a huge surprise!
Looks like the boys are being way more mature this series. The girls are letting us down with this immature cattiness.
And Michael is so scared of Amber he is being played like a puppet.

cuppycakey · 25/06/2019 17:40

Agree boooey

I wonder if the "warnings" only apply to the boys and not the girls in terms of unacceptable behaviour?
