How brilliant is Killing Eve?

Just watched the first episode in the new series and I'm stunned by how brilliant it is. The acting by Jodie Comer is particularly brilliant. She's shocking, enigmatic, scary and thoroughly believable all at the same time. I don't normally enjoy watching gratuitous violence and will turn over, but I was gripped from start to finish. Drama at its absolute best, and all the better for it being British made.

I'm binging S2 as we speak.

I swear Killing Eve is the best series I have ever watched in my life! Jodie Comer is unbelievable and I love the way her character is dark but humorous too. Will be watching the final two tonight!

Everything about this program is brilliant the script, acting, soundtrack, cinematography and the editing.

I'm jealous of Jody Comers wardrobe when she's not in assassin killer disguise. She looks like she's stepped out of British Vogue magazine.

There are so many moments of genius but I'm especially in awe of how cool, calm and unbothered Fiona Shaw is when she was angry with Eve in episode 2.

Love love this show it deserves all the awards and accolades.

It's brilliant!! One of the best things I've watched in a long time. Finished S2

Liked the first series. Only managed 15 minutes of new episode, just felt like I was watching a children's drama, so much over acting and silly dialogue. Trying way too hard.

Omg it's so fucking good. I'm in love with Jodie Comer and her wardrobe.

Confession time, I am poorly and resigned to the sofa - I started it from season one episode one and just realised I'm on season two episode three. In one day. I regret nothing (except for not ever watching it sooner)

I think it's missing something. The first series was amazing but this just isn't quite as good. I wonder if it's Phoebe Waller Bridge as main writer.

binge watching the first series, loving it, but it's a tad far-fetched

Enjoyed series 1, but found this first ep in S2 just dull. So much focusing on characters' faces and v little actual plot progression or character development.

Of course it’s far fetched! Great fun though

Villanelle looked fab in those little boy pyjamas and white clogs, far better than I do in my pjs. I don't know what it is about the whole series, because the storyline isn't all that gripping. I'm now limiting my viewing to one episode a week on Saturday evening to prolong the joy of watching it 🤣
I'll then binge watch it all over again probably on a rainy day in the holidays.

What is this about? Dh keeps telling me that his friend has recommended it but I'm not sure what it's about

Missed the first of the second series but it is repeated late Friday so I have marked it in my TV Choice!

Lucy it's about a female assassin and the intelligence officer trying to capture her.
Loads of really strong female characters. It's brutal at times but also funny.

Jodie Comer is unbelievably good. We binged series 2 this week. Brilliant TV.

Really? I loved the first series. Not so much the ending of the last series though. Thought it was a bit meh.
A bit bored by this second episode. A tad convenient that the bearded guy managed to survive. A bit samey and like it doesn't know where to go.
