I so want Gray to get found out. I'm envisaging Keegan taking Tiff to Chantelle and Gray's house (does he somehow have a key)? when they're out, for some hanky panky. Because home is full of Karen, Bernie, Mitch whoever, and Tiff's place is obviously full to bursting. Then Gray and Chantelle come home early because Gray thinks Chantelle has humiliated him again, so he locks the door and starts his horrible abuse, with Keegan and Tiff hiding in a bedroom upstairs and hearing everything.

I didn't listen to it but I heard it was good.

The Archers version was more coercive control and gaslighting than physical violence, tho' there was a suggestion of rape at one point. Watershed limitations. It started off well, but dragged on for ages and there was the complication of Helen stabbing Rob and getting sent to jail. I got irritated by her mother's weeping and wailing in court and making it all about her, which seemed out of character.

Can''t remember Helen's mother's name. Haven't listened for ages. It was all getting a bit silly. Sean O'Connor doing what he did with Eastenders. Unfinished storylines and moving characters around like chess pieces to fit unrealistic plot lines.

That was a really weird scene between gray and Chantelle just now. As if nothing had happened the night before. Talking about GBH and handcuffs as a joke as if he hadn’t scared the fuck out of her all last night and (presumably) assaulted her. I know why. I get it. But as an outsider it’s strange to watch.

WRT the letter - don't forget it's a rule of soaps that if anyone has something incriminating (pregnancy test/paternity letter/similar) they must always dispose of it in a ridiculously ineffective way so that their Secret can be discovered!
