Utter rubbish and laziness from the writers. I saw up until Ken did a Spider-Man stunt on the rooftop, Bobby was on his PC in his room. What happened then? Did Bobby leave the house? Did he meet Max? Did Ken say anything to Phil? Is Louises’s baby ok? Anything else happen? I could watch it on the PC but I ^know I will get a more entertaining version of it here 😀

Ken was debating jumping off roof, but Sharon found him and said We are doing this Because if Phil finds out it be worse. would have saved confusion and money to just get her hair straighteners out burn his finger then hold them near family jewels and say they are next!

He didn’t do much else or get to scan. Ben was being annoying saying he’s not committed, which makes you feel like you missed one and he did know where he was. Or else he could have just arrived any moment. Scan didn’t happen so no doubt he will be bursting through doors tonight. Phil kept giving Louise water to drink. Totally unrealistic given you have to drink 2pints 2hours before. You are already bursting before you get there!!

Bobby was getting creeped out by Lucy pictures and went out for chips. Max saw him and chased him home, it ended with him holding against a door.

I've got a feeling there will be tragedy at Lou's scan - I think the baby will have died and she will blame the incident with Denny causing a family rift - can't see why they'd drag out the hospital waiting room scenes like that otherwise. Then Keanu will become fixated on shazzas baby until u;timate disaster when Phil finds out

Oh good call re Louise’s baby. Do you really have to drink two pints of water before a scan? I never had to though with such long queues, women would all have wet themselves if they had to drink two pints!

I had children in the 90s and I had to drink loads before the baby scans.
However, I mentioned it to people recently and they looked puzzled ; it's not what they do anymore I was told! Maybe the writers are not up to date or some hospital scans are different?
How did Karen and Sharon get a big man like Keanu to those buildings?
What did she tell Phil?

Isnt it odd about the baby scans? i can remember thinking ' how will i manage if there is a hold up in the queue for the scan' but it wasnt too bad in the end- just had to go to the loo straight away afterwards very quickly. women have said to me that they haven't had to drink anything - the scan machines must all be so different! ( does anyone know?)
Jane was injured by Bobby and Ian had building work done to the house so she could come home. she was in a wheelchair as well. i had forgotten all of this - i remember her leaving really suddenly and Max was after her in the hospital - but its still a bit vague.

I thought that no lift in old left building yet he’s on top floor..yea right. The only believable thing is Lousie being so excited as sad as it is. At 17 she think she has made it to leave school with no exams or prospects. Phil will pay for everything she needs and she can totter around the square for next 40y in high heels and make up like Sharon.

I agree that Louise showing her happiness at just seventeen not having done anything else in her life is a bit sad really. I know I sound really ' judgey 'and lots of teens make good parents and so on, but it seems a waste when there is so much to see and do when your young - careers, money, travel , things like that are harder when you have a baby in the mix.
Same with Keanu as well.
I know I found it hard at 28 having my first child and I would have been told to move out of my parents home if I had become pregnant any younger and not married ; my parents were very strict about all that, so maybe it's just my own upbringing here clouding my thoughts! Times have moved on of course , but I still think it's hard having them too young. ( or nearly 50 like Sharon is too)
None of this seems to matter in soaps or even mentioned though, it's made to look easier than it is.

I wish EE would stop showing text messages. In EVERY episode they is one. The writing is too small. I can never read them. If the writers did their jobs properly they could avoid using them. More laziness and very irritating for viewers who can’t read them properly!

Agree, I listen rather than watching And I miss loads this way. My own fault really!

I don’t watch hollyoaks but I caught the first few minutes of an episode recently and it consisted of the text convo between two people being enlarged and put up as if it was on a virtual screen floating in front of the person. So the audience was seeing what was on their phone. Really irritating.

I really like Keanu and Louise together

I'm not keen on either Lou or ken these days! He is flaky and tends to flip flop around. She is high maintenance and sulky.
I think it could be alright if they both worked at it , but Lou has been spoilt and will be going running to dad at the first sign of trouble! The Sharon affair / baby doesn't help matters but ( to be fair to Louise) she doesn't know about any of this yet! ( she had suspicions and Sharon put her off the scent)
I can't see them staying together.

Cherry SW visiting has been mentioned quite a few times in previous weeks so it is happening but we don't see it happen.

Loved Karen's speech about her boys and just knowing and then going to Mock. I just 'knew' with DS.
