Raah yes leaving a baby in hospital if it didn't suit did go on in the 1980s. Our son was left on SCBU for 3 months before going to foster care, he then came to us for adoption at 9 months, he only had Down Syndrome. I do wonder whether his brothers know of his existence as he is brilliant!
