I loved it for the most part, but it went a little too sci-fi for me at the end. Disappointed that Stephen never really got his comeuppance.

Was that Edith inside Señor?

I loved the majority of tonight's but found the ending a bit lacking... I don't know, I think I need to watch it all again

I didn't like the sci-fi ending either, but the rest of the series was powerful enough for me to forgive it

would have like to see more about the revolution, and thought it maybe implausible that viv would get arrested.
maybe I'm just far to cynical.

It went a bit too Dr Who for me at the end but have otherwise found it brilliant

I think that was amazing TV. The best I have seen in a long time. I think the ending was fitting, and my heart was in my mouth when they got to Erstwhile 4.

For the first time in years (and years!) I won't be moaning about my TV licence.

I did not see that ending coming at all! I'm not sure about it.

It was dedicated to RTDs husband who died from a brain tumour.

Meh. Did not like the ending. Too hyped up in my head as I had read RTD had had that scene in his head for 25 years. DD and I were about it, which is a shame.

Wow. I don’t think I’ve ever watched something that’s made me think so much. I know that might sound stupid. I really am just watching everything happen around me. And I shouldn’t.

I once worked with someone who watched The Matrix and then changed her whole life, I wonder if this is how she felt afterwards!

Also...if Brexit had happened how the hell was Steven living in Barca teaching English to Spaniards?

Earlier in the thread someone hinted at spoilers they'd read, and although I wish I hadn't read it, it did plant the seed that maybe the Lyons all died in the end. What was the spoiler?

I think the sci fi ending was good - it explained the fast forwarding at the start nicely. It also tied on with how it was what Bethany wanted at the start. Very neat I thought.

I wasn't sure if Señor was Edith or just dodgy old tech going wrong - I hope it was Edith.

Loved the bit where it looked like they wouldn't escape the camp and then the support guys took out the "blink" transmitters. I really thought they'd messed up and failed.

AnyFucker they weren’t really together as a family though. They were all there for Edith, who had forgiven Stephen. He was living in Spain, he’ll go again.

Rage they were very cagey about Brexit - didn’t really mention it. Anyway, I’ve got friends teaching English in China, so even post Brexit it would be possible!

Also given technology, google translate etc why would you even need to be learning English anymore and why would you have a teacher rather than an interface/teaching bot? A family member of mine does TEFL for a living and has had less clients in the last 3 years
