Apparently Djokovic was like superman even though he was bagelled in the first set and almost in the third set Rafa was definitely the better player - a definite improvement on the last few weeks.

Been at my dad's all day, looking forward to hopefully watching back the Wimbledon matches tomorrow. Roll on the summer

kazza the commentators were basically saying Djok lost because of how his matches were scheduled. So he ended up tired etc.

I don't buy it- this is over 3 sets, and Djok is one of the fittest on tour. He plays in slams til the early hours of the morning, and comes back, fighting.

I do not believe he was suddenly knackered.

Catherine is finally pointing out that it's because Rafa won in such emphatic style in his previous matches - that that allowed him to spend less time on court.

The commentators have been very biased against Rafa kazza - they’ve blamed the shadows, the scheduling, almost anything for Djok not winning instead of giving Rafa any credit for actually playing well.

I'm so relieved - the last 3 tournaments, have been so stressful.

Both Djok and Rafa speaking Italian - not sure what they’re saying but pretty impressive.

I think Rafa’s Italian has improved Raahh - I’m sure last year it was a mixture of Italian, Spanish and English - I sometimes struggle with just English

So true about Djok - I'm sure it won't have helped him to have those late finishes, but I agree that they were blaming tiredness, and then suddenly it disappeared? Surely it would get worse, if anything?! So maybe Rafa was just so much better?

The people in the studio are talking much more sense than the commentators - I like Sam Smith and Catherine - I really like her on the tennis podcast - she does talk a lot of sense.

Yes Raahh - was quite funny about Goran being defaulted for not having sufficient equipment after he broke all three of his racquets though!

But Fizzy RG is next and I actually get to watch
