I am now off to check the schedule properly- to see what I'll miss today

PrivateI just checked in on the scores- will be a huge headache for them if all the matches are 3 set marathons!

Wow! Just looked at the scores and see that Konta has just beaten Sloane Stephens!

kazza I know! Talk about topsy turvy scorelines - she was 4-0 up in the first set and lost it, then somehow managed to win the next two!!

Plays Venus next I think... (probably in about half an hour or something)

I turned back to Thiem - Verdasco, it's right at the end of the third and it's really good. Thiem is getting the crowd going which is a bit unlike him!

Ooh Verdasco's won it!! Close one. Thiem's never beaten him apparently, in 4 matches..

Maybe it's panic. - Verdasco could take this.

And I took my eye off the score for second- and he did!

I'm quite pleased for Fernando, really.

Rafa is doing ok.

Meanwhile Rafa is 5-0 up!

That's a really tough early match for Thiem, he would have expected to go further surely. But sadly he met his Nemesis in his first match!

Makes Rafa's half a bit easier, as he would have met Thiem at the quarter final stage , I think.

(Which is when they met 2 years ago- and Dom beat Rafa).

Glad Verdasco won but can't believe Thiem lost it. The last time I looked at the scores, he had broken back to lead 5-4

I know, some crazy scorelines today.

Not able to watch at the minute but keeping up with the scores and this thread - there’s a lot to catch up on!

Poor Cilic . Hopefully I’ll be able to watch some later if they’ve all got to go round again - must be a nightmare for the organisers.

Must be tough for the players having to play two matches in a day - don’t want to be ageist but it might be more difficult for Roger.

Also, the umpire's voice from the next court is so loud, it's v distracting. I think it's the Kyrgios match (winner to play Delpo or Goffin).
