Just had a slight panic when I saw the thread was nearly full.

I am now off to check the schedule properly- to see what I'll miss todayGrin

I was thinking that - this could be a GS final in a few weeks.

PrivateIsles · 27/04/2019 17:23

I was just checking twitter at the change of ends, and apparently in the earlier match, at one of the changeovers, Medvedev was pouring salt into his mouth straight from a salt shaker Hmm Grin

Fizzywinegum · 27/04/2019 17:27

I heard that Medvedev asked for salt but didn’t realise they gave him a salt shaker that he poured into his mouth Private - yuk - he was trying to prevent cramping.

I’m going to be in trouble with my mum (and I’m nearly 50 years old!)

Poor Rafa

PrivateIsles · 27/04/2019 17:48

Thiem played really well there, but I think if that had been best of 5 sets it could have been a v different story because Rafa kept looking like he was going to get back into it. Over 5 sets, he might have done it.

PrivateIsles · 27/04/2019 17:50

Hope you didn't get too told off Fizzy!!

JaneJeffer · 27/04/2019 18:01

Ah I love this thread where you can say what you like without being rounded on.

PrivateIsles · 27/04/2019 18:34

Unless you said you loved AC or something Jane - then we'd have to say something Grin

PrivateIsles · 27/04/2019 18:35

PS I do quite love AC thanks to this thread!! Grin

JaneJeffer · 27/04/2019 19:45

My work here is done Grin

JaneJeffer · 27/04/2019 19:57

I have just seen AC described as smoking hot on another thread. Who wants to go over and say hello to Mrs. Castle?

PrivateIsles · 27/04/2019 20:16
Shock Or maybe it was kazza under a name change?! Grin
kazzaD66 · 27/04/2019 20:17

Sorry, just preped, cooked and eaten dinner, hence the delay but private Aaaarrgghhh!!!

Jane to be clear, the only way AC could be called smokin' hot is if he was on a spit over a bonfire Grin

Now, back to my rosé Wine

private yuk!!!!

PrivateIsles · 27/04/2019 20:34

Grin kazza that really did make me laugh! Hope it didn't spoil your wine!

kazzaD66 · 27/04/2019 21:19

It takes a lot to spoil my wine Grin esp as now watching The Importance of Being Earnest, with Colin Firth and Rupert Everett - classic wit, with two lovely chaps to look at Grin

Fizzywinegum · 27/04/2019 22:48

Who are these crazy people posting on threads about AC being smoking hot (and why is Jane always on these threads Grin)

I do like a bit of young Colin Firth and Rupert Everett Kazza - hope I don’t get into trouble from the Thought Police for that.

Poor Rafa but Thiem did play very well - he was very confident and in control. Agree it might have been different over five sets.

JaneJeffer · 27/04/2019 23:35

why is Jane always on these threads that made me burst out laughing Grin

JaneJeffer · 27/04/2019 23:39

Who do you think has aged well, and who hasn't? (just lighthearted thread)http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/_chat/3570003-Who-do-you-think-has-aged-well-and-who-hasnt-just-lighthearted-thread
It's this one which also had a bun fight but I didn't get involved in it this time Halo

Fizzywinegum · 27/04/2019 23:47

Well done Jane Grin I’ll go and check it out - not got to to the bottom of Ozzy Osbourne yet Hmm

JaneJeffer · 27/04/2019 23:52

Oh yes I meant to explain that to you Fizzy I posted this picture on yet another one of those threads about people who were surprisingly good looking when they were younger. Private wasn’t impressed Grin but look how cute he was!
