Has Leaving Neverland been pulled?

Justonemorepancake · 07/04/2019 20:31

I watched part 1 on all4 Friday night, horrific but wanted to watch part 2 for completion/closure. It's not on all4 any more and not coming up on any searches on amazon prime etc. Wondering if some law suit has been brought?

There have been a few reports that the contents in the documentary is untrue so maybe there is a lawsuit.

Justonemorepancake · 07/04/2019 20:45

It's weird that I can't find anything online about it. I'd have thought there would have been some press if it was pulled because of that.

KaterinaPetrova · 07/04/2019 20:56

I haven't seen it personally but read that at least one instance of abuse was claimed to have happened in a room/building that wasn't actually built until a couple of years after the accuser swore it occurred.

GunpowderGelatine · 08/04/2019 00:32

It's hasn't been pulled because of inaccuracies or lies 🙄 what guff. It's probably just expired after 30 days like programmes usually do

Justonemorepancake · 08/04/2019 07:53

Oh. There's archive stuff on all4 from yonks ago so thought one as 'big' as this one would stick around a little longer. So annoying.

OP posts:
TintinandSnowy · 08/04/2019 09:14

I agree that it's probably just expired after a 30 day window on All4.

It's a brand new film, so it's different from the archive stuff which stays longer on sites such as All4. Hopefully it will appear on another site - it's well worth watching - hope you can find it OP.

I also watched the Oprah Winfrey interview with Wade Robson and James Safechuck which follows up their stories - you can find it on YouTube.

kittykarate · 08/04/2019 14:45

Usually All4 only has really long term access to content they produced and own.

Finding Neverland was probably on a short license so probably has aged off after 30 days.

Justonemorepancake · 08/04/2019 16:19

Ah bugger. Hoping it pops up on the internet somewhere soon...

OP posts:
notacooldad · 08/04/2019 16:27

It ran out at 23.90hrs on Saturday night.
I know this because I started watching it in the evening and there was a note saying that the program was only available until then. I watched half,Dp watched a programme and then I finished. watching.
I had a loo at 23 15hrs to see if it was still there and it had been removed.

notacooldad · 08/04/2019 16:32

I meant 11.00pm!!!

Justonemorepancake · 08/04/2019 16:33

Sods law I went to watch Sunday morning then! Bastards.

OP posts:
Valanice1989 · 08/04/2019 16:42

It's not been pulled due to inaccuracies. It's been pulled because it was only meant to be available for a month in the first place. I watched it a few weeks ago and there was a message saying "available for fourteen more days".

DSHathawayGivesMeFannyGallops · 09/04/2019 19:51

It ran out.

It's been pulled from Amazon seemingly. Was meant to be out today...alas not!

www.amazon.co.uk/Leaving-Neverland-DVD-Dan-Reed/dp/B07PGPZHSS?tag=mumsnetforu03-21

GunpowderGelatine · 23/04/2019 09:05

Don't get too excited ccm it probably just expired, like it did on All4.

ccmrob12 · 23/04/2019 09:48

Expired? That was the link to buy the dvd with a release date. Not to stream. It’s been pulled for now, Dan Reed can’t make his mind up on Twitter. Oh dear Daniel!!

GunpowderGelatine · 23/04/2019 13:51

Looking at the cached page it appears that the DVD was available for pre-order to be released yesterday (22nd April). As it's no longer available for pre-order, as the 22nd has passed, the pre-order page will be set to come down yesterday. Sorry, I know how desperate you are for it all the be uncovered a big lie, but it's not, so it won't be. Amazon clearly have no issue selling the programme it as they're still streaming the programme on Prime https://www.amazon.com/Leaving-Neverland-Part-Dan-Reed/dp/B07P8G2FTJ

Also what is Dan Reed no making his mind up about?? He's tweeted dispelling the train station myth and unsurprisingly the serial liar Jackson built it without planning permission, before 1993 - is that what you meant

ccmrob12 · 23/04/2019 14:09

Now now are we really going to do this again.

He can’t make his mind up what he means. I don’t think he has a clue. John Branca hinted at him suing Dan Reed.

I’m don’t see why you hold him as this big hero. If he was any kind of decent man he would have at least consulted the people he used footage of in the film, such as Brett Barnes who is distraught at being included in this film. He wants nothing to do with it. He didn’t think that through before releasing this, seems to be a common theme with him for not doing due diligence. Too busy thinking about the promo shots and the $$$$

ccmrob12 · 23/04/2019 14:10

Oh that link was dead weeks ago. This isn’t a formality like you suggest because the pre order date has come and gone. Your are guessing. Think product has gone from Amazon altogether.

ccmrob12 · 23/04/2019 17:07

I'll show you because I know you haven't been bothered before now to look for yourself, but the guy he quoted in that tweet has bitten back hard.

He's not happy Dan has tried twisting what he said to suit his agenda. Who is the serial liar here?? Smile

Oprah's dropped it now she's back in the spotlight, HBO will soon be dropping it, and so are major retailers like Amazon.

It's literally a copy of that sick book.

If it's all the same to you I'd really rather not spend time metaphorically banging my head against a brick wall trying to convince an apologist that the world's most obvious peadophile was in fact a pedophile.

John Branca hinted at him suing Dan Reed.

Who?

I haven't Confused

Whilst it's unfortunate about Brett Barnes stock footage being used against his will (I believe his name wasn't mentioned he was referred to as "another boy") - mentioning him was pivotal to paint the picture of how the pedophile Michael Jackson replaced boys and the heartbreak it caused, and how this contributed to the fundamentals of grooming. James and Wade's stories are important too.

Possibly, though it's likely the DVD just isn't being produced for reasons other than "EveRYonE CaN sEe thE TrooTh".

Well his personal photographer is going to be in camp Jackson because to admit you worked for a pedophile isn't in his business interests. But he did day the station that "didn't exist" - the only "proof" being that the permit was dated after the abuse - was because it was actually built without a permit.

Who is the serial liar here

Still Michael Jackson

Oprah's dropped it now she's back in the spotlight

No she hasn't (and when has Oprah ever been out the spotlight Confused) https://www.digitalspy.com/tv/a27164172/oprah-winfrey-stands-by-leaving-neverland-hate/

Have you got sources or is this just your mad musings?

It's literally a copy of that sick book.

What book??

Look I'm sorry if your MJ impersonation gigs are washing up after this documentary. But trying to dissect tweets as if it's some sort of proof Michael Jackson is innocent - when the evidence is monumentally overwhelming - is making you look sad and desperate. Please stop for your own sake.
