ooh Rachel and Colonel Dan are having a domestic - she thinks he should look for a job outside the army. Colonel Dan is worried that he might be out of a job if the regiment goes.

So the Kings Own are up against the marines and they are very competitive.

Nancy's up for an assessment and wants a better job. Must be strange for Nancy being a 'wife' and in the army herself. Joy's getting cross about needing help with some wive's club do.

You were considered such a poser if you had a mobile phone. I remember my boss getting one and had to carry a second battery around in case the first one's charge gave up.

This is a bit confusing, the Colonel seems to be flitting around from one place to the next without waning, one minute with Rachel, then Nancy and now Paddy and Alex. That's nice of Colonel Dan to give Paddy the good news and he's pleased for her.
