That bed is way over the top, she would have been better buying a toddler bed and a comfy beanbag to sit on when he woke. I can see now why she wanted to tackle Rosie first.

I had tears all the way through when Billie and Greg visited the hospice.

I wonder what Paul said about Sam leaving little Paul to scream like that for her when she was doing the advert for itvbe.

chocolatelog · 18/04/2019 09:59

@MaHeidsGouping I thought the same about the bed. He was so overwhelmed by it all. A little bed with his favourite character bedding would of been fine. That kind of bed suited a 5/6 year old better.

OneInAMillionYou · 18/04/2019 10:30

HJWT there's no doubt it seems like the easy way out when they are one or two, but then you end up with them still in your bed at age seven! I would have been tearing my hair out!

Agree with comments about the bed itself. The stupid positioning of that ladder and the mad floral arrangement (by a florist!!)

Little Paul is so used to doing whatever he wants, if he sees a contraption like that bed of course he is going to think 'playtime'. Where on Earth are the sleep signals? The room just looks like yet another playroom kitted out like Hamleys bloody toy store!

Someone should tell Sam that it is the height of naff to have every bit of furniture personalised. Pauls's Shelves. Give me strength.

MiniCooperLover · 18/04/2019 11:08

Bloody Big Paul and his 'I had a really bad nights sleep' ... hmm when did he get up then? All I saw him do was wake Sam up to go into Little Paul and then turn over back to sleep! He undermines her massively all the time. She's not necessarily going about it the best way but at least she's trying.

OneInAMillionYou · 18/04/2019 11:13

I agree Mini it was actually sad to see her cuddling up and trying to kiss him and he just didn't want to know. Both of the Pauls were so dismissive of the big unveiling of the bedroom!

I think Sam's mum is very aware of the cameras as she is clearly itching to tell her daughter to take it down a few notches and use common sense!

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 18/04/2019 11:22

Paul saying he had a bad night sleep was ridiculous however I know men that would say this, the difference is their partners (me included- probably Billie too) would turn round and set them straight- but Sam is seemingly so scared to argue with him or show everyone they arent mr and mrs perfect.

As for the sleep dramas i cannot get over the mountain out of a mole hill they make. Just buy him a bed and stick him in it! This ridiculous play house of a bed is too much, and emphasises the transition. All they had to do was put him in a standard bed like he's always been in, but without one of them sleeping in it.
Also what time does Little Paul go to bed, if hes never been to bed at 7.30pm? Does he have to stay up and hang out with Big Paul on account that BP doesnt have any friends?

Re: Hospice- omg i was in bits, so sad. Grey and Billie came across fantastic, Greg feeling bad for moaning about being woken at 6am- resonated with me and this morning i didnt complain.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 18/04/2019 11:55

He definitely needed a small bed with an animal duvet cover,he'd have been fine!

That huge thing will be a pita for whoever is changing the sheets!

CallMeOnMyCell · 18/04/2019 19:55

The scenes at the hospice were very sobering it truly does make you realise how lucky you are. It’s great that Greg and Billie can raise the profile of the work they hospice do and Sam too for the NSPCC.

IHaveBrilloHair · 19/04/2019 00:20

That bed, and bedroom must be terrifying for a small child who has only ever slept with a parent.
I can't believe that Billie or Sue don't point it out.
I know someone who works in the hospice and she said they were absolutely lovely.

greatvengeanceandfuriousanger · 19/04/2019 13:25

Sam was silly and a bit mean bringing Paul into bed at 5am, totally mixed messages.

Going against the grain, I like Nelly, she reminds me of my niece. She's confident precocious and likes to be centre of attention. It was lovely hear her talking about Arthur when he put her shoes on. Billy and Greg were lovely at the hospice. Watching Greg look after the little boy and fix his sock was touching. Them being in Dubai so soon after the Maldives is a bit Hmm

Megsmcgoo · 19/04/2019 14:04

Couldn’t stem the tears at the hospice, just so sad. It was nice to see them doing that.

The bed for Paul was ridiculous, the pair of them have made a rod for their own backs. Sue is probably dying to tell them to cop on

CatkinToadflax · 19/04/2019 19:40

The hospice footage was beautiful and very sobering. I used to work in a children’s hospice, and what they showed was absolutely what we would see every day there. Billie and Greg’s sympathy and compassion really shone through and was in stark contrast to all of their waffling on about the most overpriced wedding in the universe!

HJWT · 19/04/2019 19:45

@CatkinToadflax well I put my hands up to you, you deserve a medal! I just cried through the rest of the episode after that part 😩

OP posts:
Scoose · 19/04/2019 21:52

I cried watching that part gregg being so gentle with that little boy and putting his sock back on set me off

CatkinToadflax · 20/04/2019 08:31

@HJWT thank you, that’s very sweet of you. It really wasn’t me who deserved a medal, though - I was just fundraising staff. The wonderful nurses and play therapists who worked directly with the children and families were absolute heroes.

Scoose yes I saw Greg in a completely different light when he was being so loving with the little boy and sorting his sock out!

ballsdeep · 20/04/2019 08:47

I can't watch it anymore. I used to enjoy it but nellys constant showing off and jumping on table, acting like a diva really gets on my nerves.
I'd hate to be in a holiday resort with them. It would be akin to the cast of shameless descending on your break.

OneInAMillionYou · 20/04/2019 11:47

So agree, balls

My heart would sink if I ever found myself on a plane or at a restaurant with them. The constant phones out filming. They also just seem to want to replicate Essex but with hotter weather...

ballsdeep · 20/04/2019 16:19

I follow Billie on Instagram as I used to like her and there was an obviously posed pic of her and greg with the caption something about how nelly took it without them knowing 🤣🤔🤔 everything is so fake and staged, just like the kardashians

RainbowFox · 21/04/2019 22:30

Why is Sam acting all dumb about the smear test issue. Saying she hadn’t had a smear for 5 years and then when they were showing snippets of next weeks episode she tells the nurse that the results of her last smear found abnormal cells.

I've just watched the latest episode and I was shocked by this. For someone who seems supposedly switched on generally I'm gobsmacked she seems to have ignored an abnormal result for the last 5 years. Do you think it was genuine? Surely she can't be playing dumb to the cameras on an issue like this, that would be appalling. But I can't believe she would be that unaware of how important smear tests are. Has she never heard of Jade Goody?

OneInAMillionYou · 22/04/2019 00:39

I agree RainbowFox that was deeply shocking. Her stupidity is nothing to giggle about.

Last episode of the series on Wednesday and the Wedding Special is the week after. Billie could look good in a paper bag but I didn't love her dress!

chocolatelog · 22/04/2019 01:13

@OneInAMillionYou oh I love her dress, I thought she looked gorgeous.

chocolatelog · 22/04/2019 01:34

I saw a photo the other day of my daughter when she went on the towie tour years ago and met Billie in Minnie's. She looked so different so was googling pics of the girls when they first started on towie and oh my gosh..how they've changed.

boilersontheblink · 22/04/2019 05:11

@chocolatelog They haven't changed much? Just younger and more baby faced when they started the show.

Sam may have had a nose job looking at those bruises? Think she's also had lips done maybe?

Scoose · 22/04/2019 07:59

The explanation for the bruises was given on the show Sam and billie were attacked/involved in a fight on a night out

WeMarchOn · 24/04/2019 17:00

Just caught up with last weeks, if my husband undermined me like Paul did to Sam I would not be happy and certainly wouldn't laugh about it!!
