I don't remember Ruby her dad or Phil 's storylines 10 years ago , I vaguely remember her dad was the local villain and is now dead but it's hazy? Stacey must have been around then as well.

Also, in Walford, the only university in the country seems to be Oxford. Libby went there didn't she? She would have applied through UCAS and put down Oxford as her first choice and another university as her insurance choice. Most parents would be saying things like 'don't worry, you can always go to XXXX' and focus on the positives of that second choice but it would appear that Bex has only applied for one university!

Where did Ruby get money from? She is renting in London she can't be that rich and only had one job with the girls since she moved in.

I don't get why Mitch couldn't just tell Patrick & Denise that he had to go and do the cash in hand job because he needed the money to get Bailey something (I missed what exactly it was). They would probably have let him go.
