Still it looks like rape trial is going on the right direction, though not be surprised if had a twist and they get off.

I just realised that the Ruby storyline is (not very) loosely based on the Belfast rape case and trial. They were found not guilty, not enough evidence apparently :( but they did lose their jobs. Sort of.

What is the Ben storyline about? How much is he giving Lola to play along with whatever plan he has cooked up? Another display from the dentist too. That story is building up slowly. He obviously has a temper that he can't control. Remember when he got angry when Honey couldn't go somewhere with him and he ripped up tickets (though at the time I remember thinking I'd have been pissed off too).

I forgot Billy and Honey were living together though it looked like they were back in the flat but she moved out didn't she to move in with Billy? Who is in that flat now?

How did Ruby know where Archie's grave was etc?
Jay and Lola : I hope he doesn't start dating her , it sounds as if she's up to her neck in something dodgy with new head.
I bet Ben is in with that Danny ' brookside' man and the other gangster to get revenge on his dad for being homophonic. He produced 1k very quickly there.

Keanu is turning into a poor man's Phil - pleather jacket and a scowl.
Stacey resembles a giant grizzly bear with that awful hair and fluffy coat.
Why do Tiff and Bernie wear those awful donuts on top of their heads? And Tiff seems to have an awful lot of metalwork in/behind her ears.
If I was hot-tempered dentist I wouldn't be able to stand dopey Honey/Susan's idiotic pronouncements. Malapropisms were witty in Dickens but not in EE characters.

Maybe they are going for a DV story line with Dentist? Then least Billy can save them and win the day. Though if I was writing it I’d have them move into nice house with him then start. They are in the old student house with Jay Billy Honey and kids sharing a 4 bed? No one is in their old flat yet. It was the ultimate in depressing flats.

Good call on the Ben doing over Phil now that would be a good story. Lexi means Phil can be busy and is his reason for being back.

Billy was nice to Honey not picking her up on her wrong words the other day.
I agree that a dentist his age would have a nice house somewhere ; they do get a decent wage.

Ben is going into business just to launder money I suppose. Maybe he should buy out the launderette ( where Karen doesn't work anymore, well, you never see her in it anymore)

I'm shocked that Karen isn't telling Ken to leave Phil alone. Instead she seems to have let him become a minder : gangster without any comment at all.
I know his 19 but I would be worried if he were my son!

Someone said on here said that the dentist was a 'baddie' from the word go! We always get it right. Lol
Lola has his measure though and she isn't a shrinking violet.
Billy is too dense to see it yet but he will.
A more interesting story might be the ' woman controller' type instead of a man. It has been done before , but not recently. ( Tina had one and one of Phil's many women who tortured Ben long ago)

They have completely changed Bens character. He was a bit of a knob before but I don’t think he would have got so aggressive with Lola and Lexi. Also they’ve forgotten his love of musicals.
