I'll give it another go. I understand that they are setting the scene, but it seems so complex compared to 83, which I enjoyed immediately, that it's not really engaging me yet. I'll stick with it!

Is there a recap of 83 available anywhere? I spent most of episode 1 trying to remember who everyone was and how they were related, but I'd rather not watch the whole thing again - it was ace but I don't have the time!

drigon , I do tend to agree and am missing the 80s nostalgia of series 1. But I'll persist because I loved 83 so much.

Has anyone seen Lives of Others ? If you enjoy Deutschland, you'll probably love it too.
