Loving this. Up to episode 5 so far, watching it on channel 4 catch up. Brilliant acting

I'm on episode 3. They're at an oil refinery in Angola and I can't really work out what is going on. Does it get any better?

Yes, that's the most confusing episode, I had to watch it twice, I struggled to work out which soldiers were which and what exactly the American bloke was up to. Episode 4 was a bit muddled but in a different way, different country, different set of "villains". By episode 5 it was starting to make more sense and they had stopped introducing new characters from differently abbreviated terrorist groups

They seem to think we remember all the previous characters, we muddled through

Agree I can't really remember who all the protesting/ book writing group are. I think new series that are continuations should have a prief 5-10 min recap on episode 1 to remind you of the plot and characters of the last series, especially when the last series was 3 years ago.

Anyone watch The Widow? Roberto, the 'Angolan' boy is in that, too, being a child soldier from the DRC. This time he is speaking French!

We are eitehr on Ch 4 or 5 now . The East German Dr is featuring more. Thomas' sister. I didn't remember until this episode that Thomas was in the previous series, much less his connection to Annette. If it weren't for Walter , I might have given up by now.
