Hi Sophie, I haven't watched the programme yet as I've just got back from my parents who were talking about it. You sound amazing though - sending love and hugs and hope everything works out for you all.

Just sat and watched this and sobbed, having been through high risk DV I am so grateful we are safe and free. I cannot imagine still looking over my shoulder. We are far away and safe.

My dc are still needing some support at 17 and 15.

Sophie your boys are gorgeous

I think the BBC have missed a trick here, they haven't mentioned Claires Law?

Charley50 · 08/02/2019 08:40

dalmatia - that's a very good point. It was a very emotive programme, but maybe a 'spot the red flag' guide and info about Claire's Law etc, plus mention of closure of refuges etc, would have been more helpful.

I actually felt it made the people on the programme more vulnerable in some ways.
