Bloody tragic.

OP posts:

Clearly a total sadist. She's an amazing girl.

HollowTalk · 06/02/2019 21:59

Well that was a really powerful programme.

HollowTalk · 06/02/2019 22:00

All the children were amazing. So much to overcome, though.

cushioncovers · 06/02/2019 22:01

That was hard to watch

Ratatouille76 · 06/02/2019 22:01

And meanwhile this government continue to take away all funding for domestic violence projects.

Ratatouille76 · 06/02/2019 22:02

Poor poor Zara. Why hasn't he been prosecuted for intimidating them? Her Mum is just incredible.

HollowTalk · 06/02/2019 22:02

People like that Polish guy should be locked up and never let out. He clearly had a serious mental health problem that made him really dangerous to women.

HollowTalk · 06/02/2019 22:03

It makes you wonder why there's no vigilante group out there bumping off these guys. I have to say a crowdfunder would raise a fortune.

eandh · 06/02/2019 22:11

Can I ask what channel this was on please ?

Ratatouille76 · 06/02/2019 22:16

Bbc2

BedraggledBlitz · 06/02/2019 22:52

This made me so sad. I can't imagine feeling scared in your own home, especially during your childhood.

I remember watching a documentary about Natalie's murder. He's a vile excuse for a man.

I hope these women and children have happy futures.

Sarahandduck18 · 06/02/2019 22:54

What channel?

staydazzling · 06/02/2019 23:27

watching this now I think it's gonna be a hard watch Sad

staydazzling · 07/02/2019 00:05

that police Interview made me Angry that poor girl shouldnt have been on her own

twilightcafe · 07/02/2019 13:18

I was taken aback by the amount of detail shown about where they lived. I could identify two of the towns.
Perhaps they've moved house since the documentary was filmed.

Ratatouille76 · 07/02/2019 13:19

She must have had an appropriate adult with her surely? Or not as she herself hasn't been arrested? I'm not sure.

SaveKevin · 07/02/2019 13:27

I remember that program about Natalies murder too.
I hope her beautiful children are getting the support they need to recognise that there wasn't anything they could do and that they can learn what a healthy relationship should look like.

What the hell is that polish guy still being allowed out to stalk them, that poor family. How that wonderful mum just keeps on, i just don't know. It must go through her mind that its easier to just go back to him instead of constantly moving and looking over her shoulder. Its quite clear he is never going to let them go, he should be locked up simple as that. He's effectively holding his children hostage and stopping them live their lives.

I worry for Sophies (I think that was her name) son Ollie, he has the weight of protecting his mum on his shoulders. I hope he can go back to being a normal child now they've moved and can relax.

Deathraystare · 07/02/2019 15:47

Really shocking but at least some of them had help. What about the ones who are told we can't do anything unless he does something (in other words until he kills you). And the mothers who are told the father still has rights to see the children?

Clutterbugsmum · 07/02/2019 15:54

Sarahandduck18

It's on BBC I player

SophieH1991 · 07/02/2019 18:53

Hi ladies 😊 I'm Sophie from the documentary and I have to say I'm overwhelmed from the response the documentary has received ❤️ me and Ollie both watched our parts last night and my 7 year old boy cried as he listened to me say how proud I am of my boys ☹️ so moving and I'm so proud of everyone involved! Thank you so much xx

Polkadotdelight · 07/02/2019 19:06

Oh Sophie my husband and I were watching this last night and talking about Ollie. Our boy is 4 and I can't imagine him having to witness what Ollie has. What a lovely mum you are and he is a very mature little boy. I hope he is now enjoying childhood as it should be.

placemats · 07/02/2019 19:17

Shocking state of affairs that your dad can take you away to Dubai and marry you off at 14! Seriously?

All the children's horrific experiences were because of vile men, men who they should have trusted who beat, or murdered their mother. Fucking bastards the lot of them.

placemats · 07/02/2019 19:19

Sophie Much love to you and your gorgeous boys. xxx

staydazzling · 07/02/2019 20:35

I totally agree how the he'll isnt Layla's dad in Prison, that level.of stalking in itself should be criminal.

staydazzling · 07/02/2019 20:35

Hi Sophie, such a brave and lovely boy Ollie is xx
