When does Sewing Bee start? I love that despite not being able to sew.

I am astounded that some of you seem to have a little dislike for Daniel. Why have none of you mentioned it before?

DFS will have a cemetery full of skeletons in her closet - why would you do a medical degree and choose to be a Practice Manager? Maybe she killed the patients and those are the real-life skeletons in her closet...

Raahh · 08/02/2019 20:46

Anne you might have stumbled on something,

DFS is the reason for the dearth of patients in the Letherbridge area.

She killed them all. Grin

Redshoeblueshoe · 08/02/2019 21:13

I watched it at DDs house, and unfortunately people were talking Shock
So I didn't pick up on every thing that was said, but I think DFS said she wanted to be a doctor, and that she had a degree. I thought she was picking her words very carefully, so she might have a degree in some thing totally irrelevant.
I also didn't catch what Daniel had said to her before the interview.
In future I should only watch with you lot. If I miss anything then it will be my own fault 😂

toldmywrath · 08/02/2019 21:20

My pet peeve. The pronunciation of chiropodist. It's not shh. But kicking k, as in chemist,.
Al and pretend chiropodist woman should absolutely know how to pronounce it. SadAngry

FuzzyPuffling · 08/02/2019 21:21

I thought she had a "medical degree" although maybe she is a chiropodist. Like someone else we know. Or not.

Raahh · 08/02/2019 21:24

Red Daniel warned DFS not to take anything Zara to heart. or something like that.

Even though it's Daniel that originally didn't like her.

toldmywrath · 08/02/2019 21:24

here

Redshoeblueshoe · 08/02/2019 21:33

Thanks Raahh, and I felt for Mrs T when DFS said she thought there was tension between Daniel Grin
As for Gobby Shock

Raahh · 08/02/2019 21:36

Gobby was awful today.

She heard (and shouldn't have even been there) a few words of a conversation.

Not that I'm sure I like DFS myself. But Gobby's reaction was not on.

MadisonAvenue · 08/02/2019 21:55

I think DFS is going to be make things a bit unpleasant. I’m not sure whether the fact that she’s a crap actress is making her appear false though.

Raahh · 08/02/2019 21:58

Madison I don't think it's helping Grin

Meet0nTheledge · 08/02/2019 22:26

I used to like Gobby, but ever since the memory loss incident I have gone right off her. There aren't many characters I like ATM.

Told - I thought chiropodist wa s pronounced with the same sound as chicken.

Smotheroffive · 08/02/2019 22:34

Sorry all...DFS? The sofa people? Can't be...

Redshoeblueshoe · 08/02/2019 22:36

I did laugh though. DFS is already being a list, she arranged to go out with Eeeesh if she gets the job, whilst stating in the interview that she didn't agree with staff being friends outside work. I must have followed it better than I thought !

Redshoeblueshoe · 08/02/2019 22:37

Smother it's because she is so wooden Grin

Redshoeblueshoe · 08/02/2019 22:38

Autocorrect changed liar to list !

Smotheroffive · 08/02/2019 22:58

Grin Grin Grin

AnneEyhtMeyer · 08/02/2019 23:20

Definitely a medical degree as Zara mentioned it and then asked why she didn't become a doctor.

Or maybe DFS is the Walter Mitty of Letherbridge?

Redshoeblueshoe · 08/02/2019 23:41

Sorry Anne I did say I didn't catch it properly.
There was a toddler, a ferocious kitten, and other shit Grin
I may well watch it again to check Grin

toldmywrath · 09/02/2019 09:52

Meet it's definitely a hard "k" chiropodist. As in Chiropractic, chemist etc. It's a pet peeve, but not as irritating as mispronunciation of aitch. Grin

toldmywrath · 09/02/2019 09:53

Oh and railway station please.( Never train station shudder.) Just thought I'd get that one in, too.

toldmywrath · 09/02/2019 09:55

Daniel will be cosying up on with DFS in no time.

FuzzyPuffling · 09/02/2019 11:49

told I am firmly joining you in the "aitch" bench. I cannot take anyone seriously who says this. There was some female on the Tv the other day...she was head of HS2 and she said "Haitch". How did she even get the job? Surely everyone knew she was going to have to say "Aitch" a LOT? GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR...

Meet0nTheledge · 09/02/2019 12:13

Invite used as a noun is my pet peeve, as in we sent an invite to someone.

Meet0nTheledge · 09/02/2019 12:13

It's an invitation.
