Is anybody watching this? I love a bit of comfort telly in the evenings. What do you think of it so far?

Feels weird not being on a Sunday morning. They are being treated better than the originals with the buildings being there already and the rations sound better.
Am sure it'll be good fun once I can tell them all apart.

I quite like it so far . Thought they might try and male it like love island (love the show but is different ) and glad they haven’t .

Yes definitely. I thought the start was very male dominated with two male leader each appointing a male sidekick, then the girls as an after thought. I do quite like it though and hopefully personalities will come through more. Can't stand the posh T girl though!!

Like all reality tv now, this one feels more directed than previous series. I don’t believe that the posh girl wasn’t told to totally ham it up and play an extreme version of herself.

Yay I found fellow watchers! Ok liking this series but it is giving me nostalgia for the old days building shelters and survival instead of making a bed with condoms and lube!

Agree big t is a nightmare I couldn't live with her but watching others have to might be fun

I wonder if she'll end up switching tribes a few times because she puts newcomers off..... she might settle down a bit once she's hungry and less excited 😆

Do the other tribe have to agree to a swap? Because i dontbthink the tigers will be saying yes

I can't stand that mouthy lass! Can't remember her name actually but she is so rude! Big T is also a nightmare.
I can't remember the rules other than trying to win newbies over and have the bigger tribe. What are the rules re switching tribes etc?

I think in past series they've been able to ask to swap at the weekly party and they can go if the other tribe wants them. But there are twists along the way where the tribe has to decide to send a member over to the other side temporarily or permanently so they might send her to the tigers to give themselves a break

I think the other tribe have to accept you though I have vague memories of people asking to swap and being rejected and it being super awkward!

It's been a few years hasn't it? But I have a vague memory of somebody asking to change, being rejected then having to go back to their old tribe and being public enemy number one??

Definitely liking sharks better today, the tigers have come across as nasty this episode but it's all in the editing.

Ooh, I’m in (although I’m far too old for it!). Liv is a complete gobby mare she looks like she’d hit you as soon as look at you, am liking the Sharks the best atm, Tigers are not coming across well at all.

@bianca same! Didnt like her at all in the beginning. Also think she looks better without the wig. Short hair really suits her face
