It’s really not in keeping with Jays character that he didn’t tell her. In every other aspect he has been so gentle and sensitive with her because of what she’s been through. And it’s not as if he can say he totally forgot because billy brought it up the other day.

Honey knows because social services told her and billy that Jay couldn’t live with them anymore as he was on the register for a crime against a child and couldn’t live with children. I remember billy being really torn up about having to choose between Jay and his own children.

I'm not sure about Jay telling Ruby given the nature of the offence. Obviously he has to tell her, and I imagine that is going to be part of a storyline where she is horrified and dumps him (I hope they don't go down the route of having her falsely accuse him of rape)

How did Mel get the gun from behind Runter's cushion? And why did he put it there in the first place? If she was going to come clean to police why not go to PC station. This storyline is so contrived. Now Runter is the latest 'bad seed' child. Evil genes stalk the Square.

If she just went to the police station how would Muinter be able to hold her at gun point whilst doing bad gangster impersonations?

I can’t figure out why Mel would call the police. Hunter shot Ray while Ray was trying to choke her to death. She would have to get herself arrested and charged and pack her own bag too. He needs a psychiatrist but then of course the psychiatrist would have an obligation to go to the police.

When Keanu got involved with Sharon, Phil was on a three month no fixed date of return holiday. Sharon told Keanu her marriage was all but over. Sharon gave him more attention than anyone had done since Ingrid disappeared. I have a feeling they are going to turn him into a stalker which I hope they don’t do. Alternatively they could go down the route of young male depression but as they have already done that with Lee, I think it will be obsession.
