Thanks, that's what I thought about Evie but don't see much of a twist there Confused

Akire · 14/02/2019 20:59

Why is she burning buying when she could give it to me pay for self defence lawyer for Munter.

Akire · 14/02/2019 20:59

*money!

SoupDragon · 14/02/2019 20:59

The twist is that Evie isn't the super confident top dog after all. She's no different to her minions.

youarenotkiddingme · 14/02/2019 21:02

So do we know who Baileys mum is?

The80sweregreat · 14/02/2019 21:25

Bailey's mum sounded like Dee at first! Not her , of course.
Poor kid is her carer.
I missed part one tonight ; I guessing Hunter was stitched up by jack the lad?

youarenotkiddingme · 14/02/2019 21:48

I thought because we heard the voice and then they planned to her it was because the big reveal was it would be someone we knew? But I didn't recognise her.

I thought it was a given Bailey was her carer as she said so to Mitch when chatting on the bench and Mitch said he stole the money for her new chair at the tube station the other day. Or at least mentioned he'd bought her a chair.

Akire · 14/02/2019 22:36

Missed he stole chair money- wow he really is nasty piece of work. Please get Dee a nice bloke, not him.

Akire · 14/02/2019 22:37

The Slaters do nothing but go out for meals to the club and the pub. They have more of social life than the kids.

Find hard to believe Karen hasn’t spotted 20 youths a day going in and out the back garden when he room looks out the back.

youarenotkiddingme · 15/02/2019 07:00

Akire he stole the money and alluded to Bailey he's spent it on buying a chair and flat screen tv. Therefore we guessed it was for her mum.

dogsdinnerlady · 15/02/2019 07:55

How come Mel isn't in custody with Hunter? How could he have taken Ray to woods on his own and killed him? She would at least be regarded as an accessory and aiding an offender. Perverting the course of justice can lead to life imprisonment I think. Also, how could they have found Hunter's DNA so quickly on a decomposing body without an autopsy? Total disregard for facts, reality, even probability in EE.

SoupDragon · 15/02/2019 07:57

Neither of them took Ray to the woods anyway, he took Hunter there.

Akire · 15/02/2019 10:23

Yes slight plot fault in that no way he could for him there and moved body on own. Wouldn’t they arrest Mel on suspicion for 48h or whatever as likely suspect then hunt house for blood or weapons?

Hate way show child carers as being in charge all time. I’m disabled myself (no kids) if a child was helping physically to prepare food etc they don’t become the adult. Why was she telling off her mum not eating? V cheeky. Only β€œallowed” if parent is disabled. None of this parent is ill and doesn’t feel like it like any other sick adult. They don’t always need be told about meds either. Fair enough she has to make food before school that’s not easy to do everyday but dosnt make her the adult with all responsibility.

SoupDragon · 15/02/2019 10:27

I don't think Hunter would have struggled to move the body the short distance needed to bury it.

Although where did the spade come from?

NotMyUsualTopBilling · 15/02/2019 10:29

Akire, many young carers do take on the adult role when they have a disabled parent. I know children who cook, clean and care for their parents and siblings then end up too exhausted for school and no time to be a child.

My guess is that Mitch has been helping and that social services will become involved to offer them support.

The80sweregreat · 15/02/2019 10:50

Soup : true, he did take Munter with him to the deserted woods and put him in the boot of a car.
I wonder if Mel and him will disappear somehow?
Mas is going to dump Kathy isn't he?

SoupDragon · 15/02/2019 11:22

I don't see how they can get off this with no repercussions. Yes, it was self defence but they hid the body and lied. They have to vanish or go to prison.

lazymum99 · 15/02/2019 12:58

Mas is an idiot. The actor must have demanded some time off. I wish they would not assume we are also all idiots and wouldn't question him just going to live in Australia. Plus you do not do that to your adult children.
Test to see if the producers read these threads. If for the first time ever EE goes through the process of Mas trying to get a visa.
Ted never reappeared from australia its turning into a black hole.

It always really upsets me when people burn money.

NigellasGuest · 15/02/2019 14:26

I really wish someone would work out what's going on with poor Tiff - maybe Jean, or Whitters, or even a teacher? Or perhaps Mitch could redeem himself by noticing something, seeing as he was a budding youth football coach at one point? Or is Tiff going to see sense now she's seen Evie being pushed around?

iknowimcoming · 15/02/2019 15:06

Didn't Mel also leave her car in the woods as she'd run ray over in it and it was damaged so she drove rays mercedes home (she was seen in that the other day) unless hunter buried the bloody car too.

Agree re rainies mystery illness - that's just vanished like Max's cash from the kitchen drawer.

Is the tam/Nancy wedding just some nonsense to get rid of massood then?

Evie the evil drug dealer is now vulnerable abused girl so it's not her fault - is tiff going to save them all so they all look up to her?

The dot and dr leg story is weird - why is she forcing him to come home to her house? Poor bloke can choose where he wants to die surely? He looks so frail (reminds me of my dad just before he died). That seems to be just to keep the Stuart storyline ticking over.

Bailey the child carer could be an interesting storyline - not sure they've done that before, she's quite a good actress bless her.

If the show is filmed six weeks ahead are we now into the Christmas holiday stretch and is that why everyone's vanishing I wonder? Max/jack/munter/massood etc

I did like the fact that jack dobbed munter in tho Grin

Akire · 15/02/2019 15:15

I’m not saying child carers don’t work hard or care of course. Just saying they always portray them as being the adult in relationship and β€œare the boss” not just doing what a parent asks them to help with. If that makes sense. Always make the adult with disability unable to take reposnbiloty for themselves. Just infantises anyone with a disability. Not just need to be physically helped with say preparing food but need a child to play adult role and be the one to make house hold decision and treat parent like a child.

Akire · 15/02/2019 15:21

Like I was staying at my sisters for Xmas and took an online food shop in. Man brought it into kitchen for me. My 7y niece was nosing in bags as they do, and delivery man asked her to sign on his electronic device. She’s 7! Just assuming the child was in charge of me because I have disabilities. I was putting shopping away so wasn’t like he coulnt sew I could use my hands ok. Guess it only annoys you if you live with it.

The80sweregreat · 15/02/2019 17:26

The tricky thing with EE is they want to pick up on and highlight problems such as young carers like Bailey , but they don't really follow things up with any kind of resolutions , or the story is dropped.
She can't always have cared for her mum as she's only a kid herself : it must be a fairly new problem for her. Why doesn't her mum have carers coming into her? Social services would be aware of the situation as well?

If they are going to do story lines like this then the writers should get some background or do some research first.

nancy75 · 15/02/2019 18:58

I hope they lock Munter up, it seems like Bobby must be coming back soon, we don’t need all these psycho kids on our telly!
Walford must have the highest rate of child killers anywhere in England, Bobby, Ben, Munter, probably others I have forgotten. The moral is, if you live in the East end & have kids sleep with one eye open!

The80sweregreat · 15/02/2019 20:24

Mas is always having relationships then messing the women about. He is a shocker for it.
Karen is vicious!
