I also wondered how I have missed the part where Shirley and Jean are best friends... I suppose poor Jean can't burden her own family with her worries so she needs another woman of her sort of age to confide in - who is left?

Shirley and jean are old friends from I think Janine and Michael days? There was a storyline iirc where Janine kept blaming jean for stuff saying it was part of her bi-polar and shirl and her were oddball mates and shirl stuck up for her with Janine and the truth came out (I think!). Might have been some stuff with Hev too not sure, but Shirley has been protective of jean for a long while.

Sorry no its a film about the beatles called Yesterday, Tamwar (Himish Patel) plays the main Character.

Oh : sorry! No , I haven't seen the trailer but I like the Beatles so might be worth a look. Is it on normal tv?

I found the trailer for the new Danny Boyle film that's going to be out and yes it's Tamwar as the main lead! The film looks bizarre though ; a world without anyone remembering the Beatles , only him? Whatever next eh? ( running out of ideas I think!)

The film is out in June. I wonder if mark kermode ( my favourite film critic) will like it?
His usually not as sniffy about rom com/ silly films as other critics are sometimes.

Data, Mel's ok. It's Hunter I'm not keen on.
I'm not a jack fan ( too smooth) but he can be handy to know in a crisis. As proved on many occasions.

Mel (Tamsin outhwaite) was my dancing teacher back in the 80's/early 90's before she was famous. We all used to call her (and her close friends still do) Tammy.
