Anyone watching?

Actual farming, little Robert Sugden, young looking Pollard, Chris Tate, Seth Armstrong...

I was watching with my 20 year old during Easter break and he thought it was way better than now and said he'd watch all the time if it was like this!

I feel sad watching Henry knowing the actor died in 1991. So much of his dialogue seems prescient. Sad

I can't see the appeal, everything is so slooow and undramatic.

Shout out to the authentic cow shit tho.

Hands up who else had a floppy velvet hat like Rachel in the 90's? 🤚

It's weird seeing Paula in this as the actress also played a Paula in Coronation Street. She's currently in both classics at the moment and confused me for a minute before I twigged

Archie calling Alan turnip.
He does make me laugh.
And I love how natural the banter between Jack and Joe is. There's nothing like it in today's show.

I love Archie. Pity they killed him off. I'd have loved him to return. Great character. And I love his accent.

It's the gentle humour and banter that's missing from today's show.
The same with classic Corrie, although their humour slots in with the more tragic storylines (I was cackling along with Audrey, Liz and Rita when they were drinking in the shop).
Archie is one of my favourites.
Where's Mrs Feldman these days?

I haven't been able to watch much but caught one yesterday, why was Kate in prison, did she kill her ex husband, I have a memory of that but not sure if it's false.

Michael deciding to go away because he wouldn't have any work after October, he had a couple of months left Confused surely he'd be better off staying and making money.

Don't remember Kathy and Chris splitting up, they must get back together though because she was with him when the plane crashed I think.

Yep I loved Archie too, him and Zoe were great friends

Kate ran over Pete Whitely, a married man who'd been having an affair with her daughter Rachel, when she drove home drunk. It wasn't deliberate, she just didn't see him until the last minute.
But she'd been sounding off in the pub saying she was going to kill him.

I felt very sorry for Dolly being put in that position, and angry with Kim for colluding in it.
Where has Tony Charlton had to rush away to so suddenly?
Hope Kate hurries up and leaves, she's really irritating me now Grin

Is that the end of Kate? I can't bear her sulking! She didn't even say goodbye to her children Confused

There was some right whiney women back then. At least Elsa is on holidays for a while and Kathy has chilled out a bit for now.

It's a shame Dolly left.

I think tomorrow is the last day we see Henry as he died of a heart attack in real life on his way to work Sad

I'm away for a few days so will be having a soap binge when I get home.
But I had a dream last night, I was watching classic Emmerdale and the 2nd episode had a time jump and the scene was in the factory with Laurel and Sam working there.
I think I'm over invested as I was so sad that that was the end of the classics BlushGrin
