I've started fast forwarding through the kidnap stuff - it's been going on forever!

With only a couple of episodes a week at this time the kidnap story must have been going on for YEARS

What an awful episode. Zoe was driving me mad with the continual shouting and wailing. The overacting detective using every cliche in the book was terrible!

Woman playing Zoe is a terrible actress, her scenes of crying in the cellar were cringable. Had to fast forward.

I haven't watched Classic Emmerdale for ages .....lo and behold we're coming up for Christmas again.

How come Graham is living in Rachel's house? Surely she hadn't made out a will leaving it to him.

Yes that does seem strange about Graham in Rachel's house. She probably hadn't made a will as she was young, but surely it would go to Joseph in some sort of trust until he was older?

I vaguely remember the hostage stuff but can't imagine how boring it must have been to last for 2 months in real time.

I think but not sure that Chris said to Graham that he could continue renting the house, I presume it now belongs to Joseph

Sadly that kind of creepy behaviour was all too common back in the day. I know what you mean about Kelly - my granny would have called her a sulky little madam. Poor Roy - I feel so sorry for him. He's one of the genuinely nice guys on the show,

Just got up to Christmas Eve. I feel sorry for Kelly in a way but Roy does not deserve it at all.
I miss Ashley in the present day he was a great character.
