I was thinking that an American diner would not be so popular in a small Yorkshire village, the tea rooms were better to attract tourists, etc, cannot see the village being so busy to cater for the diner style bit of an unrealistic idea for a small village

The Chris kidnap saga is dragging on forever. Considering we see 10 episodes a week, I dread to think how long it lasted IRL

It's interesting to see the parallels with the Kathy and Alice storyline and Jimmy and his son.
So many years on and they're practically doing the same story.

At the time Chris was kidnapped in September and the storyline ran until November. That's a long time to be down a cellar. Harriet struggled after a week!
