Totally agree about the standard of writing compared to nowadays. We now have the same boring stories going on and on for ages, mainly about characters like Paul we couldn't care less about.

I’ve never seen the attraction of Rachel either. She’s an attractive enough woman but her personality and the way she behaves is very irritating. I hate the way she says “Chris”.

All this ridiculous “let’s kiss infront of Betty” stuff is just bonkers. Rachel is a grown woman who has been married and had several affairs- Betty won’t raise an eyebrow to her kissing a man.
