I missed the first half. Why has Steve done a flit? Did Kim tell him Kathy was going to tell the police about him?

I missed that bit as well! Have they all forgotten Ashley came round and Kim went upstairs to ask Steve about the fun-run? Surely it's in the original statements?

Steve has lovely eyes.

I love the idea of a little paddy being afraid his hair will blow off! That’s the sort of writing I miss. That’s a total paddy sort of thing to do as a child. There’s none of that in modern emmerdale.

I also loved Robert and Andy messing around but when they see Jack coming they start sweeping the yard.

They’re such a sweet little pair. I wish Robert and Andy were back in modern emmerdale.

It’s funny they’ve gone through so many different Roberts but still the same Andy.

It's such a fascinating relationship between those two but unfortunately most people see it as Andy good, Robert evil which is not the case at all. I'm glad they parted on good terms this time. I think Ryan Hawley did some of his best acting with Kelvin Fletcher especially in the replay of the chicken run episode.

It's a fairly realistic representation of rural life with the occasional sensational thing happening like the robbery.

Nowadays they seem to think they have to come up with far fetched stories to keep the viewers watching - if only they realised that the shite they're peddling at the moment is threatening to turn us off in droves.

Nothing realistic about Kathy being home and not a bother on her!

Oh she is still in hospital but looks amazing for someone who was in a coma for ages.
