Current Emmerdale seems to have forgotten that Tina Dingle ever existed. She's never mentioned. I just went on Emmerdale Wiki to see what her exit storyline was, and she drove off to London - you would think every time they needed to get rid of a Dingle character for an length of time and they'd just send them down to London to stay with R Tina.

Talking about how suntanned everyone is, I've just realised that it would have been filmed in the long boiling hot summer of 1995. I'm pretty sure it was a heatwave that year because we went months without rain and were forever being threatened with Stand Pipes and water being cut off due to droughts and empty reservoirs.

I am loving these latest episodes - I don't remember Dolores at all though and I don't remember Linda's self induced termination at all.

Only a few months until Kim gets pregnant and there's the long who's-the-daddy storyline. I was also pregnant at the same time but I knew who my baby's father was. There is just 2 weeks between my DS and Jamie.

I was pregnant the summer of 95, DD born in Nov 95. Don't remember a heatwave but I was suffering badly with my back and pelvic pain and couldnt walk, I clearly remember DH having to leave work early every day to collect other children, I had one at nursery and one at primary school. I don't remember these storylines either.

My daughter was born August 94, definitely heatwave around then!

Odd seeing all the Dingles again, I hated them the first time around but am finding them kinda funny now. I like Mandy, never realised she had such a pretty face when she was young.

Terry has been replaced by Marlon as the go-to love interest for female characters regardless of their age or potential compatibility. See also Dev from Corrie.

Marlon doesn't perv over girls who are still at school and tell their father he'll be with them soon enough. Yuck.

Why has Linda got a big plaster on her chin?

In modern Emmerdale the Sharmas live in Holdgate but I didn't think it was so close to the Dingles.

Sometimes I get really distracted by how the houses seem to move around the village

It is. I wonder if he bought it off them. I remember some kind of hassle between them when he was moving in. I liked at Sam's present day stag party when Eric was asked why he was there he said him and Sam go back a long way.
