Anyone watching?

Actual farming, little Robert Sugden, young looking Pollard, Chris Tate, Seth Armstrong...

And the 2nd showing of the slap was louder!
How long before Betty puts 2 + 2 together and makes 5 and says Cathy and the Doc are carrying on?
Chris was really cruel, but then I hated the scenes with Cathy and Lynn being so harsh to him, it seems that on one has been sympathetic to him at all, just "stop feeling sorry for yourself/ life goes on/ get busy and be useful ".

ARealGoodTreat · 13/02/2020 11:12

I think Kathy is annoyed and upset because she gave up her chance with Josh to stay with Chris and then he goes and has an affair, what a cheek. If I were her, I would leave ASAP

JaneJeffer · 13/02/2020 14:46

That Martin is a right creep.

Isn't he just! And why leave your marriage for someone you haven't had a relationship with?
Love the cringey awkward moment of the new MFH talking about Neil Kincade!
I'd forgotten about Cathy being Jack's DIL, took me a minute to realise why he was so angry.
Dr Barnard saying to Sarah about Victoria making a grandmother of her one day, a real if you knew then what we know now moment.

JaneJeffer · 18/02/2020 14:55

OMG Kathy is nuts!

OP posts:
JaneJeffer · 19/02/2020 14:20

"Who on earth would fancy Dad?" Grin

Where is this Emmerdale village meant to be, it seems to have gotten closer and closer to West Yorkshire as the years went by.

When Rachel first went to Leeds Uni, she said to Joe that he could be there in 1.5 hours (Leeds).

Now Sarah will be working in Leeds, but she'll only be working mornings - would anyone want a 3 hour daily commute for a part time job?

The new lot "pop into Hotten" all the time - yet there was a sign in the old emmerdale the other day where Hotten was 7 miles away. Maybe I've spent too many years being a towny but surely a 7 mile drive isn't considered "popping"

JaneJeffer · 21/02/2020 14:20

surely a 7 mile drive isn't considered "popping" perfectly normal for us country folk Grin

Kathy is embarrassing to listen to. She sounds like a Barbara Cartland novel.

I want to smack Cathy!

JaneJeffer · 27/02/2020 19:15

I spotted a very young John Barton in Eric's office the other day!

I love Robert chatting to Seth and Betty. So cute.

Good spot!

JaneJeffer · 28/02/2020 12:14

It's funny watching it again and seeing people who went on to play other characters. The professor Sarah works for became Jackson's dad (without the shitty accent) Grin

You're really on the ball with the character spotting @JaneJeffer !
I knew he looked familiar.
I had to Google Tina Dingle as she seems so like Tracey Barlow in the classic Corrie but no relation.
I like Zoe's love interest, they make s nice couple!

JaneJeffer · 28/02/2020 23:47

They do. There's a real spark between them and I like the way Emma winds Zoe up.

Professor was also in Brookside.

I don't get the whole sudden "Kim is evil" thing Chris has got going on.

OP posts:
MrsSteveMcDonald · 02/03/2020 11:15

Watching Kim handing over the master keys and realised what a good looking bunch are working for Home Farm

JaneJeffer · 02/03/2020 14:50

Ah so that's what happened to the Woolpack wishing well and that's why the Dingle's house is called Wishing Well Cottage Grin

cherrytree63 · 03/03/2020 07:30

Baby faced Sam Dingle!

MrsSteveMcDonald · 03/03/2020 11:32

It's funny to see them all gradually appearing

JaneJeffer · 03/03/2020 11:58

Nellie is basically Andy Capp's wife isn't she!

OP posts:
JaneJeffer · 03/03/2020 14:31

Ian Botham Grin

OP posts:
JaneJeffer · 03/03/2020 14:46

Sam is a brilliant drunk!

OP posts:
JaneJeffer · 05/03/2020 14:44

Terry is such a letch.

OP posts:
JaneJeffer · 05/03/2020 14:47

Poor Robert Sad

OP posts:
cherrytree63 · 07/03/2020 06:29

Jack was a bit scary!
The old Sarah would never have behaved like that Grin.
And so the Tina and Luke drama starts to unfold.

JaneJeffer · 10/03/2020 14:31

Sam what are you doing? Shock
