Anyone else embarrassingly excited for tonight's return?

@janejeffer Gemmas partner did have the best outfit, i was completely mesmerised by his sparkly pants. They were gold sequins and then graduated to completely black sequins. I would love a pants like that, but black at the top and graduating down to gold. His jacket was extraordinary. Wow.

(Although i have nowhere to wear such a pants, maybe to work or to bed because they are the only places I go. I would love a pair though)

James Jordan being there is certainly no more unfair than having had Ray Quinn (blader/ballroom experience) or Chris Fountain (ice hockey).
I am thrilled for him actually - it was beautiful to watch and he earned the plaudits given how hard he hit the training (I saw some of his initial footage and he couldn't skate for toffee). The advantage of his dance background was evident in the exquisite hands, even Ray didn't have that. Jane was good too. Gemma was....better than she was on IACGMOOH . I would not have wanted to dance to Vengaboys either as you know full well the trolls would be saying she looked like the back end of a venga bus.

Just caught up with it this morning, didn't even realise it was back! I only recognise a few celebs but overall thought it was a much more promising start than last year which was so awful I thought it would be cancelled again!

I love Jane at the beginning, she comes across as a beautiful person and I hope she does well. I don't enjoy the ones who are clearly no good so the lady who played frenchie, Gemma and mark weren't fun to watch - even though I loved Joe mangle!

Dan is my favourite and I loved his performance at the end and also glad Matt is back - used to think he was an arrogant git but like him again now.

Jason is a twat, really he has no decorum about him and just seems like he doesn't want to be there. Wish they would get rid of him now and replace him with someone who can critique properly.

It was definitely an improvement on last years, glad they have ditched the backstage ice interviews. The Pro dancers seems have to stepped up a bit from last year too. Still not as good as the original series with T&D dancing and it was all a bit more glossy.

See, I don't mind at all Jason being terribly mean. For me, he just dilutes the saccharine sickiness of the arse-licking others. And Jayne and Chris seem unable to have any independent thoughts scoring at all. At least I am interested in what he has to say.
