I watched the whole series in a day. It was absolutely brilliant.

Disturbingly enough I really liked Joe.

This is on my list of things to watch. Looking forward to it.

DD is watching this , she explained the plot to me while we were on the M25 and I couldn't escape

She's enjoying it (16yo , likes Whitechapel, Peaky Blinders , Pretty Little Liars , Bird Box)

I really enjoyed it but I really couldn’t feel bad for Beck, she annoyed me, not sure if it was her an an actress or just her, I actually really liked Joe, I’m a bit strange though!

Totally agree @Ellieboolou27, I mean I did feel slightly more bad for her toward the end, but she still irritated me.

Just watched the last 3 episodes and I really can't feel bad for beck.

Haven't finished watching it (I don't care about spoilers, I often go looking for them). I don't like either of them, yet am compelled to keep watching to see what he does next.

I'm about halfway through and agree that Beck is annoying and unlikeable while Joe seems like a nice guy apart from the stalking and murder stuff. I really thought Candice was dead!

I just finished watching this today and loved it! It was great in a twisted way to be rooting for joe even though he was a monster an hoping he got away with it all!

I think Netflix are doing a great job at the moment with the range and quality of shows on offer. it really highlights to me how shit I find all UK program on offer, but especially the BBC, and how little they have that interests me.

I agree Netflix are doing some awesome stuff at the moment.

I was wondering if the wee boy will come back in a few series when he's a bit older. He played a great part.

Def think Paco will be back given the parallels between him and Joe. I think they've confirmed that Dr Nicky will be back.
Beck was annoying but I prefer to Candace. Beck unfortunately sounded like she'd read too many psychology books or watched too much Dawson's Creek - "Joe do you think I'm unremarkable?" No one really talks like her. Plus her writing was so contrived and cliche.
Never seen the actor who plays Joe before but he is great.

I do also want to know the back story with Mooney and the way he treats Joe. Never really explained. It'd also be interesting to know how Beck ended up with a group of friends so unlike her.

Just finished. I can't believe he actually killed her! I really didn't think that would happen. Not sure where they could take season 2 though.

Not sure if he actually did kill her, candice came back so maybe he has done something with Beck other than kill her?

That would be interesting.

I think they would have a lot of explaining to do though as the private investigator stopped and the book was released etc.

Yes I wasn’t keen on Beck at all, I found her totally irritating.

Me and then DH started joining in with it. It creeped me out, I guess I never realised how much people share on social Media. Makes me glad everything is set to private.

I didn’t like Joe and didn’t really like Beck but I’m interested in season 2 to see what happens to candace

Questions -
What if anything did the PI find out?
Becks story was written on a typewriter not hand written, so why believe so easily she wrote it? (Joe's fingerprints would be all over it).
He used her phone to post pics on instagram which will be location tagged, is anyone going to check?
Simply investigation would show Benji disappeared before her affair with therapist, am sure he'd have alibis etc - is there really enough to convict him?
If u were having ab affair with someone you thought was a murderer would you post it as a story to your editor or go to the police?!
As you can tell the whole "therapist did it" annoyed me and didn't tie everything up well. Poor John Stamos!

I love John stamos! It’s based on a book and the second book is set it another town but follows Joe.

So I wonder if the second season will follow the second book

Finally finished it. Kind of glad he killed her, or at least it looks like he did but he talked like he had killed her. Didn't like beck at all.

Don't like him either and wondering what candace is gonna do to him. She said she was back from the dead, so did he try to kill her?

Maybe...I wonder if she really did just change her name?

The actor who plays Joe is very honest with those who are in love with Joe...

It was crazy, ridiculous and enjoyable. Strange to be liking the murdering Joe and finding Beck an annoying, self centred girl. Was her writing any good? Found it difficult to believe she became a best selling author. Want to see another series.

Really struggling with how anybody could 'like' Joe. If you've ever been in a controlling, emotionally-abusive relationship, you would have a very different perspective.
I actually could empathise with Beck on many levels. What is it that everyone found so annoying about her?

I'm only 7 episodes in. But seriously, liking Joe - somebody who would be convicted of murder, GBH and coercive control in real life - vs Beck - and yes I can how she might be irritating but has a troubled family relationship/friendships - but she is a victim of an abusive relationship.

Is it just me???
