I've watched the Pilot today and it's good.

Is it far fetched? I'm not sure. Suspect there are people out there who go to immense lengths to stalk and seek out a new love interest.

Anybody else watching/watched it?

Oooh I have seen the trailer - will watch the pilot tomorrow.

CantstandmLMs · 26/12/2018 21:08

I've just watched episode 5. It's got a bit of a Dexter vibe I feel (think that's just the voice over!). It's definitely kept me watching, I'll have watched it all by tomorrow no doubt. Not sure how I feel about the characters though! Not sure how believable it is that he'd be that obsessed with Beck! Little to her lol

HowOftenDoYouClean · 26/12/2018 21:17

YES THANK YOU i streamed the first few online in september and saw it was coming to netflix. Escaped out my mind and will watch

DoYouLikePinaColadas · 27/12/2018 00:52

I've just watched the pilot and it's definitely reflecting upon that romance/stalker thin line that romance novels love. The leading guy who pops up everywhere after meeting the main woman in the street and they go for lunch/to his and he miraculously cooks her favourite food Envy

MrsChollySawcutt · 27/12/2018 01:07

I've read the book - it's good, lots of twists and gets very dark towards the end.

Hope the the TV series is as good.

Pleased to see this thread as I was wondering whether to watch this.

ClandestineAdulation · 27/12/2018 15:43

Has anyone finished this yet??!! I need to discuss.

TQBD · 27/12/2018 15:48

I’m on episode 4, it’s very gripping and I feel like there is a twist somewhere to come..

CantstandmLMs · 27/12/2018 15:57

On episode 8. Will check in soon to discuss lol. I'm still not convinced it's brilliant Confused

EdWinchester · 27/12/2018 18:01

Just what we needed today as we’re having a complete veg out.

We’ve watched 2 episodes and really enjoying it so far.

ColdCrumpetsandButter · 27/12/2018 18:26

EP 4 here.

It's not as gripping as the trailer made out. Wonder if when Peach (as per trailer) starts to get suspicious things will get more interesting.

The book is fantastic, I'm interested to see how the series plays out

CantstandmLMs · 27/12/2018 19:18

Ok so I finished it. Ending was pretty good and I guess season 2 will happen.

covetingthepreciousthings · 27/12/2018 22:08

I've just finished the pilot episode, never heard of it till it popped up on Netflix today, enjoyed the pilot so will keep watching. Can only see him as Dan Humphrey though!

Teaandbiscuits90 · 28/12/2018 20:35

I’ve got 2 episodes to go...not one for a Netflix series usually but enjoyed it. Did anyone watch Gossip Girl?? This just seems like Dan Humphrey 10 years on!!

ColdCrumpetsandButter · 28/12/2018 23:04

EP 6! It's getting better.

One minute I like him and I'm on his side and I simply forget about the stalking/violence etc etc. Confused

I’m on the last episode right now. Watched the lot in two nights which is rare for me

Coffeebean76 · 29/12/2018 00:31

Binge watching it - it’s pretty gripping and an easy watch.

whatyouhavethough · 29/12/2018 00:42

Just watched 4 episodes tonight. First 3 had me gripped 4th was okay.
I keep having to remind myself he is the bad guy!

ChanandlerBongsNeighbour · 29/12/2018 00:50

Almost half way through ep7, enjoying it so far! Things seem to be unravelling somewhat so will be interesting to see where it goes!

LollySox · 29/12/2018 01:03

Binge watched the entire season yesterday Blush but friggin loved it! Definate Dexter vibe and love the monologues. Have already been recommending to friends Grin

RagingWhoreBag · 29/12/2018 01:19

We’re watching it at the moment, but pronounce it Yow in a brummy accent Grin Quite gripping although far fetched and not entirely convincing performances.

He is suitably creepy and yet somehow strangely likeable. I’ve noticed that all of the men so far have been predatory and/or abusive, which I actually appreciate in a weird way, because most TV shows which feature women as victims have some heroic male characters too, and the violence is usually perpetrated solely on women, which I find uncomfortable for entertainment.

At least on this show he’s indiscriminate about who he bludgeons and there are no heroes so far! Will defo keep watching.

CantstandmLMs · 29/12/2018 13:04

It definitely has me craving Dexter!
