I've watched the Pilot today and it's good.

Is it far fetched? I'm not sure. Suspect there are people out there who go to immense lengths to stalk and seek out a new love interest.

Binge watched this today! Some plot points were a bit far-fetched but loved the ending and John Stamos

Is it worth watching to the end? I've only watched the first episode so far. Finding his voice over a bit annoying (reminds me of a cartoon) and masturbating with a cushion

I enjoyed it; it was silly but I thought it was entertaining and I wanted to see where the plot would go.

There’s a lot more voice over though, just to warn you!

I'm 50/50 on this. I am continuing to watch but it annoys me in places. I don't like beck at allm

I’ve just finished this now. I too struggled with Beck and found myself liking Joe throughout.

Loving it so far

Have watched the first 3 episodes but kind of know the story as I've read the book You and the sequel Hidden Bodies.

So far it's pretty good, but so much of the book is Joe's internal monologue that its losing a lot of his thoughts. This is making him seem like a more sympathetic character more of the time because although there were definitely points as which you were on Joe's side in the book, they petered out pretty fast once his true nature showed itself.

@mrschollysawcutt, are the books worth reading? I’d like to read the sequel!

It's quite cleverly done. You do end up almost seeing his points then reminding yourself he's a creepy stalker. And the rest....

I've watched it and I've read the book but forgotten most of it.

Can someone tell me if the ending of the series is the same as the book? For the life of me, I can't remember the ex (Candice?) from the book at all.

We binged the whole lot over a few days.

I didn't know it was a book though, might read it when I'm less brain dead (newborn baby here)

I jut finished this in two days. I thought it was amazing but I am so frustrated by the ending. I'm going to see if I can read the sequel as I hate waiting for things! I think it's been renewed for season two though.

I've just started this and like it! He's likeable despite his creepy behaviour. She isn't likeable IMO and she's the victim. Watching ep 4 later :-)

Totally agree that Joe is likeable whereas Beck just isn't despite her being the victim.. I'm only on episode 5 though so maybe my opinion will change.

Ordered the book in at the local library, looking forward to reading it once we've binged this.

YY to Joe being likeable. reminded me a bit of the book The Collector by John Fowles, very similar vein.

In fact none of the characters are particularly likeable except Joe and the young boy.

I havn't read the thread incase of spoilers but I've just binge watched to the end of episode 6. Really enjoying it - It's a bit Twin Peakish/Dexter/the one with a load of spoilt, rich girls?
