I can't muster any interest about Manpreet's story and judging from the lack of comments about her, neither can anyone else here. I like the actress, though.

She is very likeable but it's not a great story as there's only two outcomes. Either she recovers or she gets more devious.I hope they don't make her evil. I liked her friendship with Priya. It's good to see Jai getting something to do. He's such a good actor but has kind of been sidelined lately. I'm not surprised he doesn't trust her after Nell from Hell

I wish Nikhil would come back.

Rishi is what spoils manpreets storyline for me. He spoke every scene he is in. Such an awful actor and character. Maybe manpreet will kill him for his life insurance.

I am really annoyed how Graham is treating Nicola, she has taken the brunt of his rage re the fraud attempt while Robert has got off totally Scot free (well apart from losing the haulage business but that also affects Nicola), yet she is threatened with Jail, loses her job, business, home, husband and family and then to top it all he makes her a cleaner at home farm scrubbing toilets, it has irrationally annoyed me, seems really sexist that Graham will bully a woman yet nothing of any relevance happens to Robert

I'm not sure why cleaning the toilets is a big issue for Nicola actually. Didn't she and laurel run a cleaning business for years?

I thought Lydia did the cleaning at Home Farm?

It probably isnt such a big deal (if the characters were real people) but a smart Nicola would pretend it was the worst thing ever so Graham would feel smugly satisfied and not try and humiliate her more. If she had said “cleaning? No problem, where the bleach?” He’d have realised he needed to think of something even worse to punish her. At least this way she “gets off” with doing a not so bad punishment. She’s already been punished plenty in other areas IMo.

Yeah, true. Her cleaning Co was years ago. Well before Graham came along. But I was surprised neither Bernice nor her mum said something about it. Or seemed so surprised she'd "lower herself".

Yeah just looked it up. Must have been around 2002. I forgot about her and that fishmonger Simon. I really liked them together! (I like her and Jimmy too though).

Also, BTW, where is Pearl? Everyone keeps talking about her, but I haven't seen her actual face on the telly for ages. Hope she's OK.

Kerry is annoying. As if Kyle would be better off with that miserable lot.

Does anyone else think it's odd about Lisa and Zac still being in Aberdeen? Maybe I missed some episodes but it all felt very abrupt. I wonder if Jane Cox and Steve Halliwell had some emergency personal stuff going on and needed to take breaks.

I know Jane Cox has a bad back and needed a break.

They are really intent on Kyle living with Kerry , god knows why as if she’s a good influence

Surely social services would never let Kerry look after Kyle when she abandoned her own daughter. And wasn't she found incapable of looking after Kyle already which is one of the reasons Cain has him (I recall Lisa having to look after him before Cain stepped up as Kerry couldn't).

I'm also sick of Cain believing he killed Joe. They need to bring an end to this storyline one way or another. And Cain was bang on last night when he gave Debbie a few home truths.

As if social services would get involved because a granny (who had already abandoned her own child, and had a step daughter go missing) says she heard someone say Cain is unsafe. Yeah sure, that’s real solid evidence that Kyle would be better off with her. She has literally nothing to go on other than Debbie saying Cain isn’t safe. That’s it. There’s not even anything to back it up. No incident she can allude to of anything.
