Ady Lewis I always had a lot of time for but he's a dick irl.Rob Thornton being done for domestic abuse disappointed me massively too.

I've been into darts for over 15 years and spent a lot of time on darts forums. Don't really post there anymore as it's got a bit vulgar.

I was at a UK Open qualifier the Saturday after Barney beat Philth in the World Championship final. Those were the days when they were in pubs and hotels and the public could go in. Me and my mate were talking and suddenly realised that Barney and Roland Scholten were standing just in front of us speaking Dutch so we waited for them to stop then we congratulated RvB on beating the sex offender.

The previous year we had a drink with Kevin Painter and Barrie Bates at the local UK Open qualifier.

I saw Aspinall was mentioned earlier. Let's hope he's not selected for a random urine test.

I'm glad Gary Anderson is through. Shame about Aidy but he played well.

Tonight I wanted Alcinas, Anderson and MVG to win, so 2 out of 3. Anderson is certainly sailing close to the wind this year!

Wade is either on fire or got a face like a slapped arse and plays like a knobber. He played like a nobber, couldn't close a barn door.

Just watching the darts channel now, saw an interview with Rob Cross, he came across really well and really humble.

I didn't see the Wade match but glad he's out, I've never liked him.

Sort of torn on the result here, I’ve always liked Michael Smith but MVG is at his best and deserves to win

On Wade (I have a bit of a crush 🤦🏼‍♀️) - he has bipolar so might explain the extremes in how he comes across

I'm torn too, I have a lot of time for MVG but like Smith too.

I know Wade has bipolar, I really don't know if that results in him finding it impossible to shake hands with the scorers for example, but I don't like him and never have.

I've met most of the top players. One of the Dutch is lovely and another was a complete shit who disappeared before the end of the event. Needless to say he's never been invited back. I don't know why some of them agree to do these exhibitions where there's a meet and greet section for fans if they can't be arsed and sit in a corner on their own, then agree very reluctantly to get their photos taken.
