Great to have the women in this now!

Glad Klassen’s gone, he sent pictures of himself to an underage relative. The reason that MVG won’t even speak to him. Surprised how sweary the crowd are tonight

JaneJeffer · 21/12/2018 23:01

Really yerdad? That's terrible. I'm glad Keegan Brown won anyway.

Wow Yerdad, that's really shocking. He was a bit of a 'child' star at one point wasn't he? Love MVG, he is so passionate but also very respectful. I love it when he plays Barney. Weird without Taylor this year, and is Wayne Mardle commentating at all? Haven't heard him yet but we've been away so watched first matches yesterday.

Does anyone else have cheeky little bets? Me and DH have £2.50 each day, and a fiver on the overall winner. Not picked my overall winner yet though, usually have Anderson.

MeetOnTheSIedge · 22/12/2018 20:31

Just tuned in. Anderson's my favourite, I also like MVG, so a good evening in prospect.

backendofabus · 22/12/2018 20:39

Just catching up on the afternoons play - had no idea about Alan Norris's wife, so sad.
I'm a fan of Daryl Gurney but not surprised he was knocked out, he's not been on form. Glad to see Chizzy through, he could be a good outside bet.

Frouby · 22/12/2018 21:31

Gary A really struggling tonight, needs to win the next 3 to stay in.

Gulp.

MeetOnTheSIedge · 22/12/2018 21:46

Phew! That was a bit close for comfort, great entertainment, I haven't seen Wattimena play before but was impressed.

MyDarlingWhatIfYouFly · 22/12/2018 21:49

That was great towards the end, edge of my seat!

Van Gerwen up next and I was planning to go to bed....

MyDarlingWhatIfYouFly · 22/12/2018 21:49

But not now obviously Grin

MeetOnTheSIedge · 22/12/2018 21:52

I have a cat sprawled across my legs so I can't possibly go to bed Smile.

yerdadsellsavon · 23/12/2018 11:25

Last day before the Christmas break 🙁😂

Frouby · 23/12/2018 13:25

I know yerdad I miss it over Christmas and hate the gap between the semi and the final for new year.

Just had my little bet, wade and lewis both to win their matches 4-3. £2 wins £66 so its decent. And because its 4-3 you have something to keep shouting at the telly for.

Frouby · 23/12/2018 16:53

First leg of my double in Grin

backendofabus · 23/12/2018 16:53

Pleased for Wade, I know he's not everyone's cup of tea but I've a lot of time for him.

MeetOnTheSIedge · 23/12/2018 17:21

Anothee good game, a bit gutted for Brown but he played very well. I have no time at all for Wade I'm afraid.

Frouby · 23/12/2018 18:50

I like Wade, he ignited my love of darts about 11 years ago. We were in Tenerife for Christmas in Puerto de la cruz which is the north rather than the san antonio/los cris side. It was very continental rather than the brits abroad holiday we had imagined, and the only pub we could find that was English rather than a food place that served drinks had the darts on all week. Watched a very young wade come through then lose to Taylor in the final AFTER a 9 darter so I do like him.

MeetOnTheSIedge · 23/12/2018 19:26

We started watching around 15 years ago I think, when we first got Sky Sports. John Part, Wayne Mardle, Phil Taylor, Kevin Painter, Peter Manley. I'd love to go to it one day.

JaneJeffer · 23/12/2018 19:59

Well done Aidy

MeetOnTheSIedge · 23/12/2018 20:04

Yes, well played. I didn't like Lewis much when he was younger but he has matured and grown on me. The Beard to be Feared!

As an aside I love John Part's accent.

JaneJeffer · 23/12/2018 20:13

I never liked Part playing but I like his commentary

JaneJeffer · 23/12/2018 22:41

Reyes wasn't on form tonight. Should be some good matches after the break. Happy Christmas all.

At least the sexual predator isn't in this anymore.

backendofabus · 25/12/2018 19:37

@UnknownStuntman there are a lot of murky pasts in darts aren't there

UnknownStuntman · 25/12/2018 19:51

There are a few yeah, Klaasen didn't cover himself with glory when sending dick pics to Van Gerwen's girlfriends sister and of course, Philth Taylor had his convictions for sex offences in the back of a campervan.

yerdadsellsavon · 25/12/2018 20:51

Funniest interview this year has to be fartgate you can tell darts players aren’t media trained m.youtube.com/watch?v=aarfkEPd448
